I agree with James, people want to classify some of us as being "IN THE KNOW" which is totally incorrect. Being "IN THE KNOW" to me is being a part of the business and fully knowing what is going on. All of us sitting here on our computers don't know much as to what goes on in the back as were not a part of their business, and only know a small portion of crap that goes on through the sites. Why should that stop us from discussing things?

When I used to post rumors, spoilers and whatever of that nature, it was more for discussion purposes. It was for discussion, not for me to act like I was a part of the business. Like I said above, to be "IN THE KNOW" you need to be a part of the business and none of us are. But then I was tagged as being "Mr. In The Know" which was wrong by the people that tagged me that. Yes, I made a mistake for the first few months and not posted a SPOILER TAG in the subject, but not a single mod didn't say anything about it until around January of last year which was a good 7 months of me doing that.

Why do people discuss politics? religion? how Fortune 500 companies are doing? the direction that a particular instituition is heading? If I came on here every day and posted something about the direction of Forturne 500 Companies that I read in Business Week, Newspapers, or watch the local business channel does that put me "In The Know" for that also even though I only work for 1 of those Fortune 500 companies?
Wow, again, some of you guys really take this too seriously.

Wrestling has nothing to do with politics or religion, neither does OS, which is why it's not allowed to be discussed here.

Who labeled you "Mr. In The Know"? I have never even heard that term thrown around anywhere.

I only read the sites here and there but I never read into what will happen on Raw or PPV's. I do read spoilers for Smackdown and TNA only b/c I dont watch those shows So I might as well know the results.
I hear ya, I guess for me it's this. Wrestling is a TV Show staring athletes. It's not a sport. I don't jump to different sites to see who got fired from 24 or The Sopranos, or who's a new actor coming on. I don't want to know, I want the surprise. I guess it's just different ways of looking at it.

I'm already discussing a plan to make sure a thread like this never happens again. I'll post it tonight when I get back from work and have a little time.

Needless to say...this false 'news' crap is going to stop...

EG, I think this week I'm on a wrestling tear. LOL!

I had a few people tell me that I was being called that in the past because of the crap that I was posting.

Nothing against anyone, just speaking my mind on a few topics that I have had bottled up and others brought them up since they have been feeling somewhat similar.

I agree with EG on this one.

To me, spoilers and crap ruin the show. Yes, alot of them are wrong, but at the same time, sometimes they're right. And when they are right, the surprise is completely f'd up.

For example, look at the Battle of the Billionaires crap. Everyone knew who the participants would be and the special ref weeks in advance. Eventually I found out on a message board and knew as well. Looking back at the Vince/Bischoff/Foley/Shane/Austin segment from Raw a month or so ago, that would have been so much better if I hadn't known who the ref was going to be.

What sucks is that you really can't surf anything wrestling-related anymore without seeing spoilers. Message boards are cluttered with the crap. I hate that because the people I know aren't into wrestling, so message boards are the only place I have to discuss the stuff.

I have to say this place is probably the best when it comes to spoilers, but still stuff slips up at times.

Agree, I dont want to know when Stone Cold is making an apperance, When The Rock is...**** that , I want to know nothing about the shows on Monday Night 9-11 and the ppv's Sunday 8-11.

Like I said for me its more of just like reading some b/s they talk about and Its always interesting hearing about what they here Randy Orton did wrong int he back or so on.

I think 24 and Wrestling are a bit different of a thing, but I know what your saying.

New rule. No wrestling post may be made unless it is about Snitsky. I think it's a GREAT idea!

Too bad nobody wants to talk about Acne-sky

Wrestling dirtsheets = soap opera digests.
