Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Upon the launch of the WWE Network in April 2012, WWE's current Pay Per View offerings are planned to see a switch to that network. According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, business will remain the same January-April with WWE providing the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and Wrestlemania 28 on PPV. Events from April through December (not including SummerSlam in August and Survivor Series in November) will run on the WWE Network. For those unable to get the new WWE Network, the company will still provide the events on PPV for $44.95. One example cited was the launch of the NFL Network and running football games on Thursday night forcing customers to create a demand for the channel on other cable providers. The hope is that by WWE pushing these "B" PPV events to the network that it will cause an increase in clearance based on customer demand.Comment

I approve of this. It could really help I think.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Ya if they get the PPV's right like they're trying to do, and if they play old TV shows and events, I think the network actually can be a success.
I know for sure it will be my new favorite channelComment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Absolutely. It would be similar to the old NWA/WCW Clash of the Champions; bigger cards that were still on "free" TV. WWE definitely has too many PPVs, but moving a lot of the "B" shows to its own network makes sense on a lot of levels.Currently Playing:

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
we've come to the conclusion that the Benoit D.M.S. was actually a storyline to cover up his writing off of WWE TV.
I highly doubt it.
I geeked out when reading this. But it's the absolute truth.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams
