I like Rhodes where he's at, because I feel he is helping to bring some much needed legitimacy back to the Intercontinental title.

I'm totally fine with him feuding for belts later on down the line, but right now, I still feel like he has unfinished business in the mid card. Same with Ziggler.

I'm not convinced Cody is a main event player yet. I think he should get a "trial" run at it like most guys get before they stick to the top. A world title feud that they lose, and then they go back to the midcard for a bit only to come back to the top for good. Ziggler has already done that. There's no doubt in my mind he can be a world champion. And I think that's the direction they're going. Orton getting suspended, like him or not, is a big blow, because aside from Cena and Punk, there's no active guys that are established at being at the top. There's noone else for Cody, Dolph, or when he returns, Wade, to go over. Does beating Sheamus really make them look that great?

You do realize that Cena hasn't fought for a main title in 7 PPVs (No Way Out will make it 8).

Cena's the biggest draw in the company, despite what your stupid ratings might say. No one gets more heat then him. If people were really tired of him, then they would stop watching and he wouldn't have just co-headlined the biggest selling WM of all time.

Maybe I'm thinking too rationally though.

Not that he didn't help, and remember I like the guy more than almost anybody here, but that could've been Rock vs. Broom and still done a million buys.

Didn't Al Snow once wrestle a broom? Or was that a mop. Either way, I think Saturn and Snow would have made a great tag team now.

Yup I realize that. I also realize he went on last anyway.

Uhh people did stop watching, thus the recent ratings drops.

And yes it could've been Rock vs. Moppy. ER did great too. Could've been Brock vs. Funkasaurus' momma and her bridge club.

Cena didn't even appear on the card at TLC and the buys were down, which you conveniently ignore. But I guess that was because people were tired of Cena as well, great logic.

The Nielsen ratings only measure .02% of US households. I know WWE uses them to appeal to advertisers, but outside of that it's a very flawed measurement system. Not to mention the fact that they don't actually measure viewer enjoyment, just look at the # of folks on here that watch week after week despite not liking the product. Point is, any serious judgements shouldn't be made solely based on Nielsen numbers.

Yeah, I don't contribute to WWE's TV numbers b/c I ditched DirecTV. I watch the shows on YouTube, though.

DVR recordings should also be factored in to a show's popularity. We can't all watch things as they happen, but if we record it, shouldn't the makers of that show get credit as we're still watching it?

You'd think with all these advances in technology there'd be an easier way to track this stuff.

You must have a Nielsen box to get rated. They don't it with DVR's because that is invasion of privacy. The ones who are tracked approve of it. I'm pretty sure the modern devices take into account DVR in some way.

They could easily do it through DVR's. Just have it be part of the agreement when you sign up for Comcast, Time Warner, etc., that they can use viewing data for advertising purposes. If it sent the data anonymously, it's not really a violation of privacy, no more than, say, Netflix knowing exactly what you watched.

Punk confirmed a new WWE title at Wizard World Philly yesterday. He said he has seen it, but he doesn't think it looks any better than the one they are using now.

One wonders if it's just the current one but the spinner thing says "YES!" instead of having the WWE logo.

Hence Punk not liking it. And it feels like it would fit Bryan's character.
