Funny thing is, he pretty much had been upper mid-card since his loss to Henry at HIAC - feuded w/ Rhodes, then Barrett, then Kane, didn't have a title match between Vengeance 2011 and Extreme Rules 2012, and was about to be put in a feud w/ Ziggler, which would've been another upper-midcard feud w/o the title involved. Sheamus has become the top face of SD from a booking standpoint, though losing Orton still hurts surely.

Yeah I've felt like since moving to SD he hasn't been involved in a relevant program in awhile which who knows could have pissed him off idk

Yeah, and as far as guys not being pushed, Bryan, Sheamus, ADR are all relatively new and have all had more burn in the main event title picture the past few months than Orton has. I guess since Ziggler/Rhodes aren't on that list (and Miz to an extent) then people feel like no one's getting pushed. Plus I know ADR isn't a darling around here (anymore).

I do think creative ran out of things to do with him, but I don't think he'll return as a heel IMO. He's still too valuable as a legit over face (one of the most over faces on the roster) despite the fact that just like Punk, his character works better as a heel. And there's still relatively fresh feuds he can do with guys like Bryan, Ziggler, ADR, and even Brock, after he comes back.

He'll probably come back and finish up that feud with Barrett, who should also be back around the same time.

Kelly Kelly granted time off and could be done permanently.

PWInsider.com is reporting WWE Diva Kelly Kelly has been granted time off from WWE.

A source in the report notes that Kelly Kelly has been going full-time on the road since 2006 and needs some time off. The source went on to say how she has been with the company since she was a kid, signed at a young age and sacrificing any life outside of WWE.

It is believed by many in the company she won't be returning anytime soon, if at all. She recently has been putting her real name Barbi Blank out there for non-wrestling related bookings. The bio on her Twitter page displays this and her willingness to take outside endorsements and projects,

Kelly Kelly last appeared on WWE television on 5/21 episode of RAW.

Fueling rumors that WWE may part ways with Randy Orton as a result of his second violation of the Talent Wellness Program, former WCW announcer Mark Madden stated Thursday on Twitter, "WWE wants to get rid of Orton PERMANENTLY. Character and popularity have plateaued, and he's a pain to deal with."

In response to his statement, a Twitter user asked Madden whether Vince McMahon has suddenly stopped liking money. Madden responded, "Vince thinks everybody is a WWE creation, and therefore disposable, to be replaced by another WWE creation. And you're overrating Orton."

The Wrestling Observer reported Wednesday that there is a 'small, vocal pocket' within the sports entertainment organization lobbying for his termination. Vince McMahon is reportedly contemplating the move, but many employees believe he will ultimately retain the nine-time world champion due to the lack of roster depth.

The Observer added that there are people within WWE saying Orton's hiatus 'isn't going to be that big a problem.' For the first time, employees are openly categorizing CM Punk as the second-ranked babyface rather than Punk and Orton being on the same level.
