Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
SpoilerWWE has contemplated building towards a Ryback vs. Big Show match at WrestleMania 29 on April 7, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It is based on the idea of Ryback having a "WrestleMania moment" by hoisting Show onto his shoulders and marching around.
I'm sure that will be a spectacular match.
Originally posted by NoDQ.comComing off the heels of the third and final hour of Monday's Raw broadcast suffering a fifteen percent drop in viewership, Comcast's listing for Monday programming on the USA Network (available at TVGuide.com) has a rerun of NCIS airing during the 8:00 p.m. time slot with Raw listed as a two-hour program beginning at 9:00 p.m.
The first hour of Monday's show garnered 4,147,000 viewers, with hour two slightly dropping 4,126,000. The third hour, however, suffered its sharpest decline since the program was lengthened to three hours in July, dropping to 3,488,000 viewers. It marked as the fifteenth consecutive week and eighteenth week out of nineteen weeks in which viewership dropped off during the third hour.Last edited by philliesfan136; 11-28-2012, 10:50 PM.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
DirecTV has it listed as 3 hours still, so I'll wait and see.--

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
From NoDQ:
With Vince McMahon still overseas visiting United States troops serving in the Middle East, Triple H was in charge at Mondays RAW. There was a much more laid-back environment at RAW, with fewer rewrites.
The general feeling backstage was that things will be less tense behind the scenes when Vince McMahon eventually steps down and hands the reigns over to Triple H and Stephanie.
At WWE's weekly Raw events, Vince McMahon generally only meets with producers and other officials, with most talent only encountering him when they head to the curtain. Furthermore, he does not attend approximately half of the SmackDown tapings because he feels it necessary that Paul "Triple H" Levesque gain experience in taking charge of shows because he will ultimately be the leader of the company.
When Levesque is in charge of events, the atmosphere is described as being more chaotic. It is said that when disagreements or problems arise, there is nobody in the Vince role of putting his foot down and saying, "This is how it's going to be done."Last edited by philliesfan136; 11-29-2012, 12:23 AM.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Is HHH really still considered a full time talent though? He's really not involved in any of the week to week storylines right now, outside of the odd match or two he's not really an active competitor. Of course I don't buy that he's 'retired', but he's obviously working to transition into the backstage role for if and when he hangs it up for good.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
(didn't quote what I was talking about :/)
If anything, it sounds like they need to keep the 8-10 eastern time slot, drop the 3rd hour rather than the 1st. I think they used to have that way back when. I'd prefer that. I could still see a good chunk of MNF and if I'm tired, Raw will probably be over by the time I go to sleep. It's not like they do anything edgy that would need to be after 10 like back in the day... unless you guys consider AJ and Cena's makeout sessions for more mature audiences.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
He did sign, or is planning on signing a multi-year performing contract. He isn't retired. Undertaker cut his hair when he went Big Evil, didn't retire. Kane cut his hair, didn't retire. Cutting hair does not imply retirement.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I don't ever remember Raw being from 8-10, it was always Nitro 8-10 with Raw 9-11. Who doesn't remember watching Nitro to start, then switching back and forth depending on what was going on on each show?Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I was just watching old Raws from July 97. Good ol' JR mentioned them moving from 8 eastern to 9 eastern. Either it was a temporary change, or it started sooner at one point.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I only said that him and Edge had some thing going on to look more professional ;Thus my reason for saying it. Did Taker and Kane announce their retirement and then cut their hair ? I don't think so . I can see Triple H hanging it up , there is nothing left for him to do here but run WWE .Comment
