Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I have no interest in Rock having anything to do with HHH and Vince. In my opinion, Rock should just call it a career.
Only Rock I want to see is a Rock who is trying to make a name for himself in the business (aka giving 100%), and we got that back in the late 90s early 2000s. If wrestling is a hobby for him it just wont be very good. And I honestly dont see a reason why he would give 100% of his time and effort into WWE to give us a good product with his movie career really hitting stride (actually hes a little overexposed these days imo)
If his movie life dries up, and he cant find work, then and only then can he give quality time and effort to WWE. But he will be pushing Taker age by then.Comment

But you know the WWE won't let that happen because he makes them money. Unless he has a movie situation he absolutely cannot pass up or work a wrestling schedule into next spring, we'll have to endure it again.Comment

Let's give Hollywood Rock another go. Have The Rock and HHH ever teamed up?

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Also found a few matches in early 2002 where they teamed together, but I think they were faces in those matches.Last edited by Redacted01; 07-05-2013, 09:15 AM.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Few more things from NODQ:
- We noted earlier this week that it was the McMahon family who came up with the current power struggle storyline that we've been seeing on WWE TV, and that's reportedly going through WrestleMania XXX. The recent report that the USA Network wanted more of the McMahons on TV isn't the case.
There have been times in the past that USA wanted Vince back on TV, thinking he helps ratings and usually he does, but his most recent return has not provided a ratings boost. The main reason the McMahons are back on TV right now is because they booked themselves into the top WrestleMania XXX storyline.
- There are currently no plans for WWE to bring RAW back to two hours each week. WWE officials like the extra money they're making each week and they are looking at more hours of TV and more rights fees each week. That's where WWE is focused on growing their business right now - not live events or pay-per-views but TV and rights fees.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Speaking of Punk, one person in the company commented that the 6/24 Raw rating was hurt partially due to Punk. It was said as in facetious in the sense we all know it means nothing but people in the company were talking like it did. The idea was that because he was tweeting so much about the Chicago Blackhawks and the Stanley Cup, and went to so many of their games, that it turned wrestling fans who weren’t hockey fans into NHL fans, and with how great the series was, it caught on.Is there backstage heat on former WWE champion CM Punk regarding some of his hockey tweets during a recent Raw? As crazy as it sounds, one recent report suggests this may be the case...
It was under 3 again last week, wonder what they'll blame that on?Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Saw this article and thought it was interesting regarding the whole Husky Harris thing, brings up a good point that some fans just try too hard to be the cool/smart wrestling fans.
Having run the Wrestlezone social media accounts for a while now, I've seen enough stupid comments to get my fill for a lifetime. From people wishing a career threatening injury on John Cena to people complaining about CM Punk losing the WWE title after four hundred and thirty four days as Champion. I prefer largely […]Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
