Speaking of Orton, I thought I heard somewhere that the reason nothing happened to him was that he told WWE about this before the news broke or somehting like that.
It was, he doesn't like to read threads first LOL

No big loss, never been a Booker fan, find his King Bookah stuff annoying as hell.

See, I was never a Booker T fan until the King gimmick, but honestly this doesn't bother me in the long run.

It does seem kinda funny that a guy would quit because he was punished for breaking the rules, but whatever.

          Uh, modding?

I don't like dirt threads, but I haven't watched wrestling in weeks, so I don't really care right now.

Eh, I was a Booker T fan when he was a part of Harlem Heat. He was OK as a singles wrestler but I'll get over it. It's good to see that he's got some things going for him outside of wrestling so he doesn't end up broke in a few years.

btw just for you history buffs... The E acknowledged the tag title change on the tour. They finally updated the site after Cade and Murdoch won it back on the last night of the tour. Thus Londrick are now two time champs, and Cade and Murdoch are three time champs.

Correction! Technically, their one time and one time.

Paul Heyman has quietly parted ways with WWE. He currently has no affiliation with WWE. He's free to go to TNA, but TNA hasn't expressed any serious interest in his services.

I thought Heyman left after that disaster that was December to Dismember.

He was still under contract, but he basically just sat at home until his contract ended.

I thought he was just flat out fired after D2D. After that, TNA would be ******** if they hired him. They really should marshall their resources and go after Eric Bischoff. He gets how to get a company to the top, something TNA is sorely lacking.

Hell, the WWE really could use Eric Bischoff in the creative department right now too.

In my mind Heyman is still an upgrade over Russo.

Did you see December to Dismember? For a PPV he only established 2 matches going in, and one of those 2 matches didn't even feature ECW wrestlers at the time, it was Raw and SD guys (John(ny) Morrison (Nitro) was still on Raw at the time. The rest was filled with crappy bonus matches, like Matt Striker vs. Balls Mahoney and some other garbage. Would that sort of booking for a PPV really be an upgrade for TNA? I don't think so personally, but I only watch TNA intermittently.

                                Heyman didn't book D2D IIRC.

                                PWTorch:

The long-time creative force and face of ECW was technically the head writer of ECW, but like all of his peers he answered to and was edited by Vince McMahon. McMahon was always either somewhat or heavily editing Heyman’s scripts for ECW TV. The PPV on Sunday was said to be a collaborative effort, however it was heavily edited by McMahon even more than usual.

Several wrestlers were aware of Heyman’s original plans for the Elimination Chamber match, but by match time, they were given different plans from McMahon. McMahon made several changes late in the game, including Sabu being removed from the match, as well as CM Punk and RVD being eliminated so early. The reasoning behind this was so that people would be forced to cheer for Lashley.

While McMahon appeared to be satisfied with the results of the event at the end of the night, by the next day he was said to have realized how bad it was and that’s when the blame game begun. After a backstage meeting lead by Vince and Stephanie Mcmahon, Heyman left the arena without saying goodbye or announcing what happened to anyone. He immediately went to the airport and flew home.
