Kassius Ohno aka Chris Hero was apparently released by WWE. He'll be wrestling Hurricane Helms at an upcoming PWS show.

Kinda sucks, I'm sure he could have had some great matches. The gimmick they gave him was kinda dumb, though. He could probably do well over in TNA.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

      - As seen at the WWE live event in Belfast earlier this week, The Miz turned heel and cut a promo on the fans before losing to Kofi Kingston. Word is that the heel turn was just for this tour of Europe because they were short on heels. Miz will likely be back to working as a babyface on WWE TV next week.

      - WWE NXT stars Conor O'Brian and Rick Victor have been re-named, according to their respective Twitter accounts. On the social media platform, O'Brian is referring to himself as Konnor (@KonnorWWE) and Victor is now Viktor (@ViktorRiseWWE). Together, they appear as The Ascension.

      - Evan Bourne will finally be making his return to the ring for WWE some time in the next 4-6 weeks. WWE officials expect Bourne back before the end of the year, at least working live events. No word yet if he will return to TV before the year is over.

      - The Usos worked as heels as they defeated Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater in Glasgow, Scotland last night. McIntyre came out to a huge pop from the hometown crowd but got pinned to end the match.

      - As seen on SmackDown and at recent WWE live events, Ryback has been doing the spear and the jackhammer moves. Bill Goldberg re-tweeted the following comment from a fan in response to Ryback:

"Ryback hitting a Spear + Jackhammer better mean @Goldberg is coming back. Because if he isnt then its a total kick in the nuts to him by WWE"

      - WWE Superstar Curt Hawkins tweeted about Kassius Ohno, who was released by WWE on Friday. He wrote:

"For the record @KassiusOhno is one of my favorite wrestlers. An incredible talent that any promotion would benefit from having on board."

      - As noted, there is a renewed effort within WWE to put larger or bigger wrestlers in the spotlight, which is why Big Show is back in the main event.

The feeling among WWE officials is that they have a number of average-sized performers and now is the time to sign more head-turning attractions, more bigger & burlier wrestlers. WWE is looking to focus on bigger and stronger Superstars as opposed to guys like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.

      - Speaking of Punk and Bryan, part of the reason for their feud with The Wyatt Family is to help elevate Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. As much as WWE officials are high on Bray Wyatt, they also want to push Rowan and Harper.
And here goes the ***-backwards thinking of the WWE..

        Yup.

I'm done actively supporting them or even thinking about defending any move they make if they focus on **** rather than guys like Bryan/Punk who have proved time and time again that they can "carry the ball." No more PPV buying at all unless they prove the opposite to me.

What I really hope, out of all this, is that somehow HHH has managed to work the Dirt Sheet type thing into their storylines. Make it sort of this "unreality era" type thing. I mean, when someone has gotten fired before... Have other wrestlers ever commented on it like Hawkins did? JR also tweeted something to the same effect that they made a mistake.

What I'm hoping is that due to his run-ins with the Wyatts on nXt he'll appear as the third guy on Punk/Bryan's team. The fact that he's taking indy bookings already reminds me of when they "fired" Cody Rhodes.

Um, there is no "head turning attractions" in Pro Wrestling any more. The only "head turning attractions" not with the WWE are either well past their prime (i.e Hogan and Sting) or completely out of wrestling (i.e Rock)

Pretty sure their goal is to find and sign the future head-turning stars, not necessarily go and sign old washed-up ones.

                  - Hulk Hogan appeared at a signing earlier today in New York. He wrote the following about his appearance on his Twitter account:

"Totally freaked out how good and in shape Big Kev, Scott "amazing", XPac are in, with Hollywood we could rule the world again or take on any".

Hulk later added, "Great day in NY,the fans have nothing but love, but they all ask the same question, brother! HH. ps,I'm feeling the energy".

As noted earlier, Hulk Hogan is currently looking for work.

You telling me Big Show doesnt turn your head when you see him on your TV screen anymore?? Survivor Series is riding on it! Oh Noes!

Im holding out hope that Big Show is being given his last bit of love before he hangs them up forever and that DB is only on the back burner for this Survivior Series team. Then they'll have him focus on the belt again. I still cant believe they have Big Show chanting yes whenever he likes. WTF bros?

                        - As noted earlier, Janice Carter issued a memo to employees back on November 1st squashing rumors of sale talks and that her family was fully committed to the organization. However, according to F4WOnline.com, she is lying as multiple sources within the organization have stated that negotiations are currently being held for potential buyers. Furthermore, nearly everyone who has been speculated online, including musician and Resistance Pro Wrestling owner Billy Corgan, is not involved in the negotiations.

It is said that some WWE officials are following the story very closely, with one source quoted as saying "more so than people would ever imagine." It is not because the WWE that is interested in purchasing TNA, but rather because they are curious to know who desires to and what the status will be of some talents (specifically Hulk Hogan and Sting).

                        - Hulk Hogan mentioned to an Philadelphia ABC affiliate during an autograph signing last week that he is interested in returning to WWE for WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, Louisiana.

"I would love to be at WrestleMania XXX. I would love to have a ringside seat. But, the truth is I need a job. I quit TNA. I've just been hanging out on the beach. Never say never."

When asked if he could still wrestle, Hogan said "right guy, right venue, and right payday." The Hulkster also noted that he may "Hulk up."

"I don't think I can wrestle too much anymore, but just being around the business and helping and being part of it is pretty cool," Hogan said.

As noted earlier, Hogan has been “training like a mad man” in hopes of wrestling again for WWE.

I think it's a little ridiculous that people are upset that D-Bry is out of the title picture. Dude just main evented 4 straight PPV's. So he's being moved out of the title picture to help elevate a group they're very high on. He's teaming with the #2 babyface in the company. They are trying to establish a Main Event Heel faction. To do this, Orton needs to be in the Main Event picture. They can't have Daniel Bryan chase the title for 6 months at a time, so he's doing something else for now.

I do not believe he'll be back in the title picture for a while. Not because he didn't do a good job, but because it doesn't make story sense at all. He'll be in the Elimination Chamber, I'm sure, and he'll feud with Triple H or (probably a pipe dream) HBK at Wrestlemania. CM Punk being kept so far away from the "Authority" storyline screams him facing Orton at Mania to me. It just fits with his persona for him to go head to head with that group. And pairing him with Bryan against the Wyatts now kinda sets the stage for them to both feud with the Authority later. So they need someone for Orton now. And who else is there? Sheamus is hurt. Cena is over on Smackdown. Jericho isn't around. Big Show is the next over face. They could throw Ziggler or Rhodes in there like a lot of people would like, but the inevitable loss would hurt them a lot more than it would help Orton. This storyline did it's job - it got Bryan over. But in this version of the "Corporation" story, he isn't Stone Cold; he's Mankind.

No it didn't. He was already ridiculously over before it started.

                            It did nothing for him.

Did this particular storyline really get Bryan over? Or did it get everyone else involved over as heels and once that happened sent Bryan packing?

I do agree that it wouldn't make story sense for him to still chase the title. Since they told us for 2 and half months that he wasn't worthy of it, nor was he capable of defeating them; which they proved at every possible opportunity.

EDIT: Well Dayman beat me to it in much fewer words. It did nothing for DB. It did everything for everyone else.

He was already very popular, but this story got him over as a Main Event-caliber guy. He beat John Cena clean, and beat Orton another time. Bryan came out looking much better than Orton, since it took a Pedigree, being stripped of the title, a knockout punch, and Sweet Chin Music.

To me, there's a difference between being popular and being over. Santino is popular, but no one is going to buy him as a top guy. Obviously Bryan has never been in the class of Santino, but his character, not him as a performer, was elevated by this feud, imo.

By the way, it is absolutely messed up that Big Show is essentially trying to hijack Bryan's gimmick. It was one thing when Show helped Bryan, but still doing it? Not cool at all, imo.
