True. I do like the idea of doing what was said. It gives the core wrestling fan the knowledge that he's a bad guy but lets the little kidos continue to cheer him.

I repeat Sandow was not ready for the World title , Cena is what's best for the moment . 80 % of the wrestling fans would agree it's what's best . Only thing you could complain about is the booking if you want but even with that I think they handled it perfectly .

It's the fact that he beat him with one arm. The match was good but c'mon man. I think what makes it worse is the beating Sandow gave Cena before the cash in.

What makes you say Sandow wasn't ready for the World Title?

What bugs me the most was Damien Sandow carried that case around for what 6 months. Then to lose to a "One arm" Cena kills me. Its like they kept hyping his cash in so much then some writer or HHH decide "I know what will get Cena over, lets make him one armed and force Damien Sandow to become on the 2nd guy to fail to cash in the briefcase".

I thought the way Ziggler was cheered when he defeated a face Del Rio would happend again if Sandow did it to Cena. It would get him over with the fans and give him a push.

3 months. And the guy has probably won less than 5 matches since then. I don't see the shock. I like Sandow, but he should not be a World Champion. Not yet, anyway.

So your saying booking is why he shouldnt be champ? Or that Sandow himself as a performer couldnt do it? A wrestler can ony do so much with the way he is booked. I dont hold that against him. As for his mic skills; he can do it. the only thing I have against Sandow is his generally weak looking arsenal of moves. They gave him that nelson slam finisher to help though.

My issue with Sandow, in relation to not "being ready" to hold the title...

Booking hasn't really allowed his character to grow/gain any more dimensions/be tested in some longer, tougher matches.

As a performer, I don't have any doubt that he can do it. As a character, I'd really want him to have a nice strong decent length feud with a good payoff for him at the end.

Both booking and as a performer. I don't think he's ready to main event PPV's as a performer. Like you said, he has a weak arsenal. But on that side, he just needs more experience. His mic skills are good; for the mid card. Imo, he hasn't really shown any versatility in his promos yet. There was a time when everyone loved Del Rio's character. Then we all realized how one dimensional he was on the mic. In another year or two, I think he'll be great. I do think he'll have to go through a character tweak to do it (his current gimmick is a little too over the top for the next level, imo).

But booking is part of it as well. He's only been on the main roster for a year and a half, and he hasn't won a lot. He's been a good performer, and helped put a lot of guys over. But he hasn't looked like a world beater. That title needs a guy like Cena to hold it, whether the end game is to restore some level of its prestige to to unify the belts. But it's been two years since a real "top" guy held that title. Sandow is not that guy. So I think him dropping the briefcase actually makes sense.

I dont remember the last time the WHC main evented something. It usually opens PPVs no? Im not buying Cena holding the belt over Sandow as some kind of prestige builder, or even something that that title needs. That belt will never hold the prestige some of you guys want it to. The moment Cena gives the belt to someone else it will lose that. So I agree, Sandow isnt ready to headline Wrestlemania. But a WHC run? He could handle it. Until the Mexico tour comes back around and Del Rio gets it back of course.

However, I dont agree that Sandow losing to Cena last night was a good or smart thing for anybody. It just didnt make any sense booking wise at all. Even if it leads to Sandow having a feud with Cena, him losing the case on Monday was just really puzzling. Sandow could have lost to Cena in a more significant way than that. Its like they wanted to get rid of the MitB case just because.

Yeah I'm interested in seeing if Cena will open the PPVs or be THE main event still

Last time world title meant something was when Mark Henry was putting bitches in the Hall of Pain. Man that was a great run.
