And I look at their entire time since being put in the spotlight, and it's been more boring than it has been good. Their matches are great, but overall they haven't been showcased like they should. You think a pop matters to the WWE? If they did, Ziggler and Bryan would have held multiple WWE and World Heavyweight Championships for an extended period of time by now.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Well it's not like I don't want to see the young guys pushed too but the WWE has their top guys that they are going to milk main events out of until they can go no longer - Brock, Taker, Rock, Cena, HHH, Orton, etc. After they move out of the spotlight, I think we'll see the next generation of guys become main-eventers. I think the WWE teases us by featuring them a lot but since they're still in their late 20s-mid 30s (Ambrose, Rollins, Ziggy, Cesaro, Reigns, etc) the WWE thinks they can wait to push them.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Dude Kaval ****ing sucked. He had zero presence and wasn't over one bit. Same tired 'indy guys get no shot' crap, even though you got Ambrose, Rollins, Punk, Bryan...Kaval was just terrible and didn't have what it took to succeed in WWE. He saw that and quit.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I don't blame the dude though. To say he ****ing sucked and was nothing more than a throwaway is a very shortsighted and "WWE is the only wrestling in the world" view to have.badComment

Ziggler better stay far away from TNA.
The gossip about him rubbing people wrong backstage leading to him being stuck is not surprising in the least. Classic WWE. Ziggler must not be in with the right people backstage.Comment

-There has been an idea pitched where Daniel Bryan would feud with John Cena and each man would have a Bella Twin in his corner. Regardless if that happens, they are looking to do a split between the Bellas with Nikki going heel and Brie playing the babyface.
- Yoshi Tatsu recently asked WWE officials if he could move from Florida to Texas because he had found a Japanese community that he wanted to live in. The WWE office, and this was blamed on Triple H, told Tatsu that he had to stay in Florida and needed to be at Performance Center practice every day to become a better worker. It was noted that most wrestlers regard Tatsu as one of the WWE's better technical workers and the idea that him doing drills taking hip tosses after going through New Japan training and being 36 years old was a talking point with a lot of guys.
- WWE officials think NXT star Sami Zayn is really good but they want him to stop climbing to the ropes so much and appealing to the crowd because Vince McMahon reportedly hates when people do that.Last edited by jvalverde88; 10-24-2013, 05:08 PM.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I think they mean they just need him in Florida to teach the guys they actually care about. What would Tatsu do in Texas for them? He may need to make a life choice on this one if he really wants to live with the group in Texas. Tatsu needs to see what he is actually worth to those in power at WWE and decide if hes comfortable with that. Not seeing WWE as the bad guys in this case.
The whole Bryan vs Cena with the Bellas splitting is such a Stephanie McMahon soap opera idea. I dont see anyone really caring about those girls. They have been a focal point of the divas division since that E show aired and the crowd still couldnt care less about those two.Comment

So wait, would Nikki be heel while supporting Cena, because that seems...off. Unless.... yeah, not happening.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
- As noted earlier, Vince McMahon is being advertised locally to appear at this Monday's Raw at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The arena's website is advertising an appearance from "the McMahon's," while the WWE.com event page for the show has Vince McMahon listed.
It should be noted that while Vince McMahon appears on the event page for the show, he has also appeared on the event page for almost much every Monday Raw following the SummerSlam pay-per-view, including the October 14th show and the October 7th show. That doesn't necessarily mean that Vince won't appear, but you can't strictly go off of company advertising.
Joey Styles spoke with VOC Wrestling Nation about Dolph Ziggler being underutilized.
"My very good friend Dolph Ziggler isn't being used to the best of his potential. You want to be very careful who you hand the ball to, but I think Dolph is someone that you can absolutely hand the ball to because his work is very exciting. He is unbelievably crisp and great on the mic; he is a big fan of standup comedy and he can ad lib as well (if he is given permission to do it). He's also never going to embarrass the company, he's never going to get in trouble with the law, he's a model guy."
Styles also commented on Daniel Bryan's rise to success.
"The storyline got him over the top to be someone that you would by a ticket for. I was such a fan of his before he even came to WWE. The whole idea of making him lose in 18 seconds to Sheamus did more for him than winning by cheating. That was good for Daniel Bryan (it led to the YES chant the next night on Raw). The fact that the entire company (on the storyline) is ganging up against him, (is a result of the fact that) you wouldn't do that for someone that you weren't ready to hand the ball to."
- A match or some kind of angle between The Miz and Bray Wyatt is expected to be added to Sunday's WWE Hell In a Cell pay-per-view.
- Rey Mysterio was backstage at this week's RAW in Memphis but obviously not used. He was still scheduled to return on the show as late as Monday afternoon. The idea was that since he won't be wrestling for a few more weeks, they decided against putting him on TV for an interview.
- Jake "The Snake" Roberts, who announced in April that he wanted to compete in the 2014 Royal Rumble after resurrecting his life through Diamond Dallas Page and the DDPYoga program, has continued to campaign for a spot in the event. Yesterday on Twitter, Roberts publicized a petition directed to WWE Talent Relations to put him in the match. The petition states the following:
"Jake has given the fans so much of himself in the ring over the course of his decades spent in the business, let's give back to him and show our appreciation by voicing our support for the next stage in his journey!" the petition states. "Let's show WWE that we fans want to see this. Send your mail to WWE, post about this on every kind of social network imaginable, tell your friends and their friends, AND SIGN THIS PETITION! Let's show WWE that we won't shut up until Jake Roberts is in the Royal Rumble!"
WWE officials are aware of Roberts' desire, but not interested in using him at this time.
- On this week's edition of MLW Radio, Konnan revealed that some people in WWE feel CM Punk has a "big head." He is not the only talent perceived in that regard by co-workers as the former WCW competitor said a Total Divas star carries that reputation as well.
"Having trouble remembering her name," Konnan states. "The other one that has a big head was...who I always used to bury and now I'm glad I did is uh...the one that was...I forgot her f****** name. The one that was dating...Ariane. Remember Ariane, from the Divas?"
He did not add elaborate on this, but indicated that unlike Daniel Bryan, Cameron, who appears under her real name, Ariane, on the E! scripted reality show, has let fame get the best of her.
- The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar is now on the books for WrestleMania XXX, provided that Taker feels healthy enough to work that kind of match. Lesnar was always going to work with either The Undertaker or The Rock.
- There apparently seems to be no love lost between Scott Hall and Goldberg.
@IAMOWOMIZZ
Goldberg!goldberg! What does that remind you off @scotthallnwo
@SCOTTHALLNWO
@IAMOWOMIZZ #GoldMark
His slight is in reference to Goldberg having a reputation within the professional wrestling industry of taking his character too seriously.
In the past, Goldberg has labeled Hall as "unprofessional" and blamed him for a near career-ending injury at a December 1999 WCW event where he smashed the windows of a limousine with his bare hands. He lost a large amount of blood due to this and came within one centimeter of having to have an arm amputated.
“I should’ve killed him but I didn’t,” Goldberg told Mike Mooneyham of The Post & Courier in a 2001 interview discussing the incident. “Scott Hall is very unprofessional and he often breaks character and does things I don’t agree with. I try to be professional and set a positive example, but unfortunately he doesn’t share the same views. Vince Russo couldn’t control him and we had an issue, and instead of being unprofessional and making him pay, I took my frustrations out on that limousine.”
- Kane should be back on WWE TV imminently. The current plan is to headline upcoming WWE live events with The Wyatt Family vs. Kane, Goldust and Cody Rhodes matches and a Kane vs. Wyatt match of some kind at Survivor Series.
- During The Usos vs. The Shield match on Monday's RAW when JBL was going off on Cody Rhodes during commentary, that was Vince McMahon feeding him lines. Vince tells Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole things to say at times but when he has a major point he wants to make, Vince usually uses JBL as his voice.
Vince was very frustrated with Cody, who was told to be aggressive and take charge on commentary. The feeling was Cody was just giving typical babyface responses to the questions. Another source said Vince wasn't mad at all but he did push JBL to go after Cody for his commentary.
- A major UFC name was expected to be in contact with WWE this week about working for the company in 2014. It's not Chael Sonnen, who has expressed interest in doing broadcast work for WWE once his MMA career is over.
- Tonight's WWE NXT tapings from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida will feature a special appearance by Big Show. The NXT Twitter account has been teasing something between Big Show and Xavier Woods, who has been sharing a petition to bring Show back to WWE.
- While WWE hasn't officially announced it yet, Zeb Colter has been tweeting about the Los Matadores vs. Real Americans match at Hell In a Cell:
"Looking forward to #HIAC Sunday...where @AntonioCesaro @RealJackSwagger have brutal plans for @WWELosMatadores and @WWEElTorito. @WWE"
"If @AntonioCesaro puts the #bigswing on @WWEElTorito #HIAC, he will leave the ring at about 6'4. Little bastage. Deport them all. @WWE"
"Told everybody about Del Rio...I was right. Now, warning about @WWELosMatadores @WWEElTorito. Never doubt experience. #WeThePeople. @WWE"Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
- If you're wondering about all the recent incidents where it appears TNA will do something on their TV program and then WWE will immediately turn around and do the same thing on their program the next week, it's not a coincidence. As much as Vince McMahon claims he doesn't think anything about TNA and doesn't consider them competition, that's not the case at all, and creative on both sides watch the other side's programming.
- With the 2014 WWE pay-per-view dates recently being released, it appears WWE will be dropping either Battleground or Hell In a Cell in 2014. They will still run 13 pay-per-views however they are going to add a second pay-per-view to June, bringing back The Bash at The Beach. There is also talk that next year's October pay-per-view may feature a War Games match, something fans have been wanting for a long time. The only potential hang-up is that Survivor Series usually features four-on-four matches and it would be odd to do a four-on-four in October and in November.Last edited by philliesfan136; 10-24-2013, 10:12 PM.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I don't think it's that at all. His style would have taken time to integrate into a more WWE friendly style and I don't think he was content jobbing out and being a curtain jerker at best.
I don't blame the dude though. To say he ****ing sucked and was nothing more than a throwaway is a very shortsighted and "WWE is the only wrestling in the world" view to have.
I forgot the guy even existed before his name was brought up in this thread, so its not like I've been harboring this ill will towards him either, lol.Last edited by rangerrick012; 10-24-2013, 10:46 PM.Comment
