Yes. They could give Cena a two week title reign and it would mean more than Punk's 434 day run. Punk could have been the greatest heel ever. From the very beginning. He should have got the ecw title in the chamber, shouldn't have have Orton take him out and forfeiting the WHC. Shouldn't have lost to del rio with Nash interfering. Should have never lost to the punk. And his match with taker was good but meant nothing. And if bearer hadn't died it would have been boring. He was Cena's tv program when he had the belt. And Vince still never gave him the only thing he's ever wanted.

CM Punk being the #2 guy behind John Cena for so long is nothing to complain about. I never viewed CM Punk as a guy who sells PPV. Him headlining WrestleMania again John Cena would be cool as a fan, but is he really anymore relevant than Batista or Randy Orton with casual fans? I'm not so sure.

He has every right to bitch and complain about his position within the company. We've all felt undervalued at one point in our lives. I can't sell myself on the opinion of WWE doing him wrong in any way. He was given more opportunity than most on the current roster. Made a nice name for himself in pop culture. Opened up other doors for him.

Not too bad in my opinion.

So they gave him the ECW championship relatively early in his stay
Gave him free reign to cut any promo he wanted
Gave him the championship for a modern day record (6th all time mind you)
Had him best John Cena, their actual number one guy, over and over again
Gave him the most merchandise items after John Cena on their shop
        Gave him the Rock twice
        Gave him the Undertaker
        Gave him Lesnar
        Gave him his Heyman feud
        Let him violate Jeff Hardy
Gave him a handicapped win over the Shield
Gave him two Money in the Bank wins and cash ins
Made him their number two position
Made him untouchable made man status
        5 time top champion
And dont forget paid him well for it

But because they didnt have him headline Mania yet, we marginalize his whole WWE career into "they didnt do anything with CM Punk" you have got to be kidding me.

And to the bolded; Boo ****ing hoo man. This is the rhetoric I can't understand from morbid Punk fans. NOTHING is good enough when it comes to that guy. Remember how gassed Punk fans were when he beat Cena at 2011 MitB? How they couldn't get enough Punk during that time. Did you expect that feeling to be the case with Punk until the end of time? We are so quick to forget how much good the WWE did for this guy. But we don't give a **** because Punk left one random monday night so now the WWE has commited a crime against CM Punk. Oh please. You can't honestly expect a rational person to see that argument.

They've done CM Punk very well. I think even Punk knows that. If he's upset and over it becuase they dont book him at the main even at mania, then fine. But for the love of god please stop pretending like they Zack Ryder'd this man. Stop lying to yourselves. Stop feeding into that bull**** thought process.

You didnt see him on Twitter or talk shows blowing up the WWE. He just took his ball and went home. He did something you or I would do with a job if we didnt like it..He walked out. To call him a child the way he handled it is jumping the gun. We all have our opinions on it. Chanting anything during a match is a god given right to fans

Yes I am. And you're 100% wrong in your assumption. If I were under contract to preform a job for a certain period of time I would see it through even if I was unhappy. In a regular job I would never leave a job without giving notice. Under no circumstances would I ever just walk out. That's unprofessional, immature, and cowardly.

I love CM Punk. He helped rekindle my love of professional wrestling. But what he did was wrong.

Posts like this confuse me. If you don't wanna be the best at what you do, why are you doing it? He wanted to be the best (heel or face) and definitely had the potential. Like, how can you set someone else's ceiling and tell them to be cool with it? Lol. He earned what he got in that business. He wasn't a Orton or someone who kind of had it paved for him.

I also disagree on not selling. I have a friend who's very casual on wrestling. He asked me why the hell are Batista and Orton fighting again? And if CM Punk sells are the same as Batista, at least he's a hell of a lot more entertaining.

Gave him free reign to cut any promo he wanted They only did it because he was legitimately leaving.
Gave him the championship for a modern day record (6th all time mind you) Yet he still didn't go on last at PPVs. Wasn't relevant during the whole time with it.
Had him best John Cena, their actual number one guy, over and over again They had to initially or he was leaving the company. After that it was to build his minimal credibility as the champion, but I'll give you this one for all the times but MITB.
Gave him the most merchandise items after John Cena on their shop The fans dictated this.
Gave him the Rock twice In which he lost. A part timer who had wrestled 3 matches in the previous 7 years ended his supposedly iconic title reign.
Gave him the Undertaker There was no excitement to it, no stip. And if Bearer hadn't died, it would have been a boring build.
Gave him Lesnar Great booking, great match.
Gave him his Heyman feud It really didn't mean anything, they fed jobbers to him.
Let him violate Jeff Hardy Tucked away on a B show, and SES just burnt out. Like he's said, they turned it into chicken ****
Gave him a handicapped win over the Shield What did this accomplish?
Gave him two Money in the Bank wins and cash ins Both burnt out at the end, laid down to Taker and didn't even lose it the other time, punted by Orton.
Made him their number two position The fans made him that.
Made him untouchable made man status Not sure what you mean.
5 time top champion His WHC runs were far from top. And he should have never given the title up to Del Rio due to Nash.
And dont forget paid him well for it If they didn't, he was leaving. In 2011 he was the hottest commodity in the industry.
Just my take on all of that.

This guy is one of the greatest professional wrestlers in the history of American Pro Wrestling, non-kayfabe speaking. He has not ever been booked as such. He's top 5 all time in the ring. Top 5 all time on the stick. Yet just because he's skinny fat, and not huge and roided up, they don't push him to the moon.

I think when Rock ended Punk's reign, that was the beginning of the end. I understand a bunch of people love Rock, but to have a title reign like that end by a guy who is a part time guy and hadn't wrestled a full time schedule in years was crap in my opinion.

I felt completely robbed that THAT is how it ended. I can only imagine Punk felt the same exact way.

Nah, it's from the match on SD! this week.

                                Nothing confirmed or anything.

Rey Mysterio apparently injured his knee in the Fatal 4 Way match with he, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and Mark Henry that will air on Friday’s SmackDown.

During the match at Tuesday’s tapings in Ontario, California, Rey landed bad and quickly went out to the floor and laid down beside the steel steps. Rey pulled one of his pant legs up and removed the large knee brace that he wears, clearly in pain.
