The Rock did the rounds on espn today. He talked about the original plan for his feud with Brock and that there was a plan in place for it maybe to stretch into Mania 31. He also says he wants another match, and he's been in contact with Vince about it, looking for a marquee matchup. He talked about the guys that are getting pushed to hopefully that level, and mentioned Bray Wyatt and Roman. Rock vs Bray or Rock vs Triple H would be great ways to go, imo.Comment

Nope. No Rock/Brock. No Rock/Bray. Rock/HHH maybe, but they'd have to figure out a reason why.
Rock/Reigns would be the worst match out of them all. The best story/buildup perhaps, but would hands down be an absolute bomb of a match.badComment

I don't see the harm in Rock coming back, working a program with a young guy, and then putting him over at Mania.
I don't see how that does anything but help the young guy.

I think a Rock/Bryan matchup would be pretty amazing. It would work with a heel Rock coming back from Hollywood to beat a champion that's not in his league. A more plausible scenario would be The Rock coming back, Bryan getting mad, and turning heel.
Punk/Rock had some pretty good matches that were overshadowed by so many people being mad about the result. Personally I'm rooting for Rock/Wyatt for Rock's reactions alone throughout the feud.
They could really play that feud up, too. Rock comes back, crowd is psyched, "FINALLY" *lights go out, "We're here.", lights come back on and Rock is flattened as Bray soaks up the heat.
Film a couple of via satellite promos for Rock for weeks where he can't be there where he starts talking and the lights go out around him and the Wyatts show up, showing he isn't safe anywhere. There's nowhere to hide. Really play up an element of fear with The Rock.
Bray basically recycles a lot of what he said during the Cena feud, but because it's Bray it'll still be awesome.

Actually that'd be an interesting way to do it. Have Reigns and the Usos team up, The Rock comes back for one of his special appearances, and have them get pissed at him for not joining his family. Then the feud revolves around them kicking The Rock out of the family since he was never really family anyway. There's your Wrestlemania build!!!
