Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

There are several people within WWE who feel that as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy sees more success, it becomes more likely that we won’t see Batista return to WWE as a full-time performer ever again.

When Batista left a few months ago, there was a belief that he would be back to continue his storyline once the media and appearances for Guardians was over but some are under the impression that it may not happen. Batista’s future with the company was a hot topic backstage at this weekend’s WWE live events.

There’s also the risk of Batista getting injured now that his film career will be taking off. It’s almost guaranteed that Batista will receive a lot more offers for movies because of his role in a blockbuster hit like Guardians. Batista is no longer seen as a guy who acts in indie movies and studios will be hesitant to cast him in movies if he’s performing in a wrestling ring.

There has been talk within WWE for about 6-8 weeks that John
      Cena
is still having problems with his shoulder but is now having more
problems with his neck. These are longterm nagging issues that Cena has been
      dealing with.

It was also said that there are a lot of people within WWE keeping an eye on
Cena to see where he will be going forward in regards to acting and not
      wrestling as much.
There are also people within WWE who say Cena appears to be in pain and they
believe Cena has slowed down physically in the way he moves

This guy has been hurt for sometime
      atleast..Its not Delaware

The status of WWE's stable with Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods has been a hot topic among fans this week. The group has been used at recent WWE live events and in dark matches, both as heels and babyfaces.
According to PWInsider, the members of the group have been told that they will still be used together in the future. WWE officials are trying to figure out how the group will be presented and how they want to move forward with it.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will make his first title defense of his current run as champion at the “Night of Champions” pay-per-view. In a “SummerSlam” rematch, Lesnar will go up against John Cena. Following reports of Lesnar being able to work any WWE event the company wants, many fans believe there is no doubt that Lesnar walks home victorious on Sept. 21.

While it is still unclear if Lesnar will appear at WWE’s October pay-per-view, “Hell in a Cell,” his next opponent may be lined up anyway. According to a recent report from F4WOnline’s Figure Four Weekly Newsletter, it reports that Big Show is being slotted in to face Lesnar, following Cena’s rematch at “Night of Champions.”

Show and Lesnar squared off at the 2014 “Royal Rumble” pay-per-view, in which Lesnar squashed the behemoth in convincing fashion. Despite this, WWE still believes that Big Show is a believable opponent for Lesnar. Its reasoning is that the company is currently too light on main event caliber stars to face Lesnar.

If Lesnar skips “Hell in a Cell,” the presumed match would likely come at “Survivor Series.” At the 2013 showing of the pay-per-view, Big Show unsuccessfully challenged Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. However, Lesnar is advertised for the “Smackdown” prior to “Hell in a Cell,” leaving some to think he will appear at the pay-per-view.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

sounds like the NXT crossover may not be a one week deal according to PWinsider:

A number of prominent WWE NXT talents have been booked for the next several weeks of WWE TV tapings, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
NXT champion Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze are all scheduled to be at this Monday's Raw in Lafayette, LA and Tuesday's Smackdown in Biloxi, MS.

We are told that the NXT talents are expected to be at TV for at least the next several weeks. Whether they are used on TV to help continue to cross-promote the NXT brand remains to be seen.

Earlier this week, I asked Triple H during a media conference call about the possibility of continuing to cross-promote NXT on Raw and Smackdown. In response, he commented:

"I think we’re open to doing that in a lot of different ways. Just the fact that we - to your point - took a segment of our biggest flagship show on one of our biggest nights, it was our season premiere, so to speak and taking that opportunity to give NXT and to give those talents a platform to show what they do, to allow people to see the brand...maybe they haven’t seen NXT before or seen those talents before...and use that as a way to promote the special, to promote Takeover, to promote the Network, to promote everything is a great opportunity. I’m not losing perspective of it also being a feeder system and what is the best way to debut a talent. This one was about promotion and giving these guys an opportunity. It’s about awareness and we have the ability to do that. We also have the ability to keep guys special and run vignettes on them and bring them in a bigger way or to cross-promote all of those platforms. If there’s one thing that’s the beauty of the WWE, we use all of our platforms to cross-promote each other and vice versa. That’s really kind of our secret sauce in a way of being to able to do all of this....just the fact that we were able to get that kind of play that were able to get promotional spots within Raw and then to get that match out there on Raw and we have the confidence in the ability in these guys to be able to perform at that level. I’ll say, to your point, anything new is going to feel fresh is going to feel different and all of those things. They performed at a level that … they belong there now. Now it’s just a matter of when do we need them? When is the right time? How do you want to bring them up and in what way? But we can do it in any way we want."

Zayn, Breeze, Neville and Tyson Kidd competed in a tag match on Raw Monday to spotlight the NXT brand leading into the NXT Takeover: Fatal Four Way special last night on the WWE Network.

There's talk within WWE of a power struggle
                    involving Stephanie
                    McMahon
                    and Triple H on one
side, and Chief Strategy & Financial Officer George Barrios and Chief
Revenue & Marketing Officer Michelle Wilson on the other side.

Barrios and Wilson were the ones in charge of the WWE Network launch and
WWE's new TV contract. Both deals were nowhere near as successful as the company
                    hoped for.

It's probably been said many times, but I still think HHH just needs control of it all. He might not be the businessman Vince is but he can let Steph and others be that. Just seems like it'll be a better product that way. Not that PPVs this year have been bad tho, with WM30 being one of the better shows in quite some time.

I feel like H is so diabolically smart that he's luring everybody in to wanting him to just take over the company cause he's doing "what the IWC wants" with NXT and all this stuff and then as soon as it actually happens and he takes over, he's gonna bust out the classic Triple H heel turn and make everybody hate him with classic Triple H behavior.

Apparently the Cena/Ambrose match has been changed to a No Holds Barred, Contract on a Pole Match and the loser will face Randy Orton later in the night.

So the setup thus far for WM is a possbile return of two stars. HHH vs Rock and Taker vs Sting! However, its being thrown around that if Taker cant go it would be HHH VS Sting
