Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

I caught a little bit of Smackdown last week, including the beginning of Kane's promo... I got the feel it could be setting up another Taker/Kane program, perhaps a last hurrah for two characters that have been intertwined for much of their long careers. I know I'm missing a lot of context since I don't watch regularly, but after reading he's in line for a "big push", is that where this is headed?

Taker will probably be out for the rest of the year. A broken orbital bone is no joke.

I see... I had no idea that was the injury referred to a few posts ago. I guess they could build Kane now with an eventual blow-off when Taker comes back. Or they could do something else. What do I know?

The storyline continues at an FCW live event.

The NXT invasion storyline continued at last night’s WWE developmental show in Florida. The main event was scheduled to be The Miz and Daniel Bryan vs. Christian and Heath Slater but that didn’t happen. The Miz’s music played before the match but nobody came out. Christian came out next and talked about what happened on RAW, then called out Heath Slater. Slater talked about how everything was good to start off on NXT but then Christian wouldn’t give him the answers so they lost the competition.

Daniel Bryan then ran out and attacked Christian from behind. The Miz came down next and fought off the Rookies with Christian. Miz proposes that they do a Pros vs. Rookies match. Miz cut a babyface promo with Christian and worked the match as a face.

The ending came when Miz and Christian were about to hit their finishers on the Rookies. All of the Season 1 Rookies rushed the ring and beat down Miz and Christian. The Rookies tore down the FCW ring before Bryan kicked Miz in the head and Slater hit the Killswitch on Christian. The Rookies left with the Pros laid out.

Alot of the news sites are saying it's storyline, but they're also saying it may be true as well. Pretty dumb if it's real since he's the only NXT guy that actually gets a reaction.

Now, it sounds like it's real. WO is saying it's due to his choking Justin Roberts with his tie.

If this is true, then F WWE. I'm done.

Man, I was just checking around for the PPV schedulee and there is literally like 3 PPV in a 1 month. Between September 19th and October 24th there is Night of Champions, Hell in a Cell and Bragging Rights.

will these all be typical PPV or is Night of Champions something else?

Night of Champions has been around for a while. It's all title matches and every title in the company is defended that night.

Tough blow for Smackdown. It explains the beatdown by Kane last week though. He had that elbow pretty well taped for a while, so I bet it was an injury he was working with for a while but finally it got to the point where he needed to get it fixed.

Hopefully when he returns they'll add a member or two to the SES.
