IF they contacted him, which they probably did, $10 million is just the public figure. Like Mayweather's $20 million.

I would stay away from a headache like him, though.

An attention whore like Kanye is exactly what Vince would like. It's all about the media attention.

I'd rather have 50 host Raw though. Not a fan of his music, but I think the guy has a presence and is hysterical. Plus he'd get them plenty of attention too. Can't be worse than Sharpton.

Rumor is Bret Hart wants to come back and work on TV. He obviously can't wrestle, but would work a storyline. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!!

I could see an angle where he takes over for a missing Teddy Long on Smackdown as an interim GM. Done right that could be an epic angle.

I would mark out if he came back, especially to lead the new Hart Foundation...he could be a great manager/mic man...

I truly hope we get to see the Hitman come to the ring again and give some kid his glasses.....

                - Word going around the WWE locker room is that the reason CM Punk lost the World Heavyweight Title last night is because of heat on him stemming from an incident on the recent European tour. The story goes that there was in issue with how Punk was dressed and The Undertaker said tried to nicely tell Punk that he was the World Champion and was representing WWE overseas so he should dress better. Punk said something to the effect of "what about John Cena?"This got back to WWE management and they took it as Punk thinking he was a bigger star than John Cena. Then the decision was made to take the belt off Punk at Hell in a Cell and put the match as the opener. It is noted by Dave Meltzer that this may not be exactly how the story went down but it's how it was told. The problems with Punk and losing the title has been the talk of the SmackDown locker room for the past two days. As noted last night before the show, several on the SmackDown brand were under the impression that Undertaker was winning and he did. There are some who are wondering why Undertaker was given the title considering his limited schedule and health problems with the feeling that it was too soon to take the title off Punk.Word is that WWE is planning on going with a Batista vs. Undertaker feud for the World Heavyweight Title. Here we go again....Same old ****

First off, this whole dress code thing is stupid. They are pro wrestlers for crying out loud, who cares what they wear outside the arena? I think it's laughable that Vince wants his guys wearing suits.

Second, it is crazy how one little comment, probably said in jest, can get someone in hot water. I totally get why some people leave WWE voluntarily. Unless you are a top dog, you can't speak your mind. If you do, you get punished and it's childish and stupid.

Third, Undertaker vs. Batista, again??? This is why pro wrestling is so stale. Just when you start to give WWE the benefit of the doubt and watch as they build up CM Punk, they take the title off of him WAY TOO EARLY and put it on a guy that doesn't work a full schedule and can't stay healthy for more than a couple of matches. So, you have a 45-year-old man as WC defending against a guy who's also over 40 and also can't stay healthy. Sounds like a recipe for a huge program. Man, what a joke.

If they go this route, I'm done with WWE.

Wow. "What about John Cena?" And as a result of that, you get the belt taken off you?

I guess McMahon is overly protective of his cash cow.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

This isn't some type of isolated incident. Punk is a huge ******* and a lot of people don't like him. They'll put up with his crap for the most part, but you're not going to be a dick to Undertaker and compare yourself to the company's biggest star. You still have to be politicaly savvy in this game. Way it's always been.

That said, there's no freaking way what happened last night was because of this. HE KICKED OUT OF THE LAST RIDE AND TOOK HALF THE MATCH. This wan't a squash, it wasn't a burial, it was just a burned out creative team getting booked into a corner with a hot shot stipulation. This'll blow over in a week.

I hope the burial rumors are true for CM Joke, but they sound too good to be true.

Batista/Taker? Gee I can't wait for that TLC match. That will be full of exciting spots and be the best TLC EVER. It will also go a really long way in getting over the new stars.

(Can either of them actually climb up the ladder at this point?)

Of all people, Mike Johnson aka I want to be CM Punk's bottom boy at PWInsider is shooting down this story. Matt Hardy said somthing about how Punk dressed and there's som heat there, but nobody cares about Fatt Hardy. Taker/Punk was supposed to go on last, but Taker said he couldn't put on a performance worthy for the main event and asked to open.

I knew this story wasn't right somwhere. The way Dave Meltzer explained it made no sense. Someone calls him and says Punk is getting squashed, which he doesn't, but it's true? Makes no sense.

So yeah, time to put this BS story to rest.
