What a dumb move firing him, especially since they let him on the air AFTER the incident.

The dude is absolutely awesome and the WWE needs managers to make a comeback.

Plus, what does this mean for the PTP? I really hope this doesn't hurt their push.

    RIP Tag Team division?

They'll have Vickie as their manager. *Waits for Matrix to enter thread and go off on Vickie*

So why did they have him on last week if they were just going to fire him?

Yeah thats the main thing that irks me. I liked AW but people on Twitter acting as if he is a top draw or something.

I honestly don't have a problem with him getting fired. I really enjoyed him and had high hopes that he could help bring back the tag division as well as usher in a new era of managers. But that rape joke was way way over the line. Even in the attitude era that would have been too much.

The rape joke was hardly over the line. This is being blown so out of proportion it is embarrassing.

Seriously? Do you guys even remember some of the **** that WWE allowed from about 96-2005?

Lawler once used a derogatory gay phrase on Raw back in the day without penalty, which makes this firing ridiculous in comparison.

Pretty much. Not to excuse the firiing bc it is unfair IMO, but people need to realize that the world and the company both are different from what they were in 2006 (Vince/nword), 2003 (Big Show's Kobe joke), and 1996 (Lawler/f word).

It wasn't over the line at all. You hear worse jokes on Conan for crying out loud. I thought it was funny.

Times ain't that different from 2005 at all. Punk just told a fan to kill himself earlier this summer and got nothing.

AW is a black manager, not a former/present world champion. Simple as that.

Well WWE did say it was continued misuse of social media, this might've been the last straw and the reason why they only fired him this week.

The PTP are God's gift to the tag team division!! #ChumpChamps suck, @WWEUsos suck, Primo&Epico suck too and by the way. Where's Rosa? #MIA
