It's basically away to get cheap heat. The company has been doing this forever.

Hassan was an excellent character and he could have been a big time heel.

Speaking of DVDs, the Ladder match DVD comes out this Tuesday I think. I shouldn't be dropping money on it, but I probably will anyways. There's just too many great matches on it to resist

Highlighting what they have right now is ECW: Blood Sport and Anarchy Rulez '99. (You can probably tell it's Hardcore Heaven month).

They also have the best I Quit matches ever including Rock/Mankind with those vicious chair shots, Flair/Foley (which I actually witnessed) and Lawler/Funk.

For 5 bucks a month or pretty close to it, WWE 24/7 is an absolute steal.

I've got to agree. He's one of the few guys over the last four years (since I came back to wrestling) that made me drop what I was doing to watch him on the mic. If anyone finds the clip of him and Foley arguing I'd love to see it again.

I agree on the 24/7 deal....Brings back memories and good if there is a bad RAW or Smackdown, you can just get your wrestling fix onDemand

Bloodsport was good and I also recommend...also Anarchy rulez'99 was good and brings memories of "ECW"...Even the opening match was very good...that show has it all & represents "ECW" well...has a technical wrestling match, Hardcore matches, unpredicability, Cruiserweights, 3 way dance where it is elimination(Not that WWE one fall ends it all B.S.) Its a great card

I also love the Monday Nite Wars that they have on 24/7...Back when Wrestling was Must-watch T.V.

                    Not really a big story.

I read on a forum that the reason Ashley was written off the show last night is because she is going to be on Survivor. Yes, you read that right.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

                        Holy crap.....

The ideal plan right now is to have the “Jackass” angle set up one to three matches at the August 13th Madison Square Garden RAW event. WWE is planning on having them make several television appearances that will lead up to the Summerslam Pay-per view.

Jackass stars, Steve O Pontius, Wee-Man, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, and Preston Lacey have all recently agreed to take part in the WWE vs. Jackass angle. WWE is pushing for Johnny Knoxville to take part in this angle as well but nothing has come to terms yet. Rake Yohn however turned down the angle while Dave England and Ehren McGhehey have not been asked to be part of the angle. WWE plans on having Jackass members as baby faces feuding against WWE heels.

Shane McMahon was the one that made the deal to ensure “Jackass” involvement. Originally Vince McMahon was undecided about the idea but later gave the go-ahead.

This could either be hilariously funny and really bad or just really bad.

I promise you it will not end that way. At most I'm guessing 1 match on the card...

Everyone here hated Hassan! I had him as an avatar most of his WWE career and everyone made fun of me for it. I think Superstar and I were the only Hassan marks.

What's really funny is that the guy is Italian. Dude has some grade A acting talent, and they should have gotten more out of his persona.
