I really think this deserves it's own thread. This gimmick is awesome (although it's been closely done by others like Rikishi & The Godfather). It's like a breath of fresh air because finally someone isn't coming down in a speedo acting cocky (heel) or playing up to the crowd (face). I miss the gimmicks, hopefully they keep this up!!

I think Funkasauras is funny, but I'm not a huge fan of it for Brodus - I think he can go pretty far, and I worry saddling him with a gimmick like this will a) get old, and b) hold him back. I for one am not a huge fan of over the top gimmicks (for instance, I think Santino's time is up, and can no longer stand seeing him on my television set - his time is up, imo).

Santino has found subtle ways to reinvent himself which is why I think he's semi-fresh feeling. Hornswoggle was made to talk because he had gotten old. I see your point though. I think this will work for now and when the time comes he can always turn into a major bad *** 'the time for fun is over' and start destroying people.

What's sad about Santino is he's a great wrestler as well but he will never be taken seriously.

Sounds like Bryan retains in a no contest after AJ takes a punch from the Big Show and has to be stretchered out. This is must see.

I don't think it's that at all. I'm sure he ducked the punch and AJ took it. Also seems like Henry is getting his title shot next week.

All in all, it's looking like a Triple Threat at the Rumble. I'm just waiting to see when Bryan goes full blown heel.

New WWE tag team champions were crowned at Sunday night's live event from Oakland, California.

Primo and Epico defeated Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston at the show to win the titles.
