Yeah seems like this could be coming at a bad time due to being rushed, if Ryback is getting another title shot like someone posted he obviously can't really get destroyed in this match but having The Shield lose will pretty much kill what they have built them as being a threat.Favorite Teams:

There always has been more than 30 days between the December PPV and the Royal Rumble for the past 15+ years. Anybody want to check how many times the title was actually defeneded in between there? Only one I absolutely know for sure is 1999.
Was defended on the first Raw of 2012. First Raw of 2011. I didn't check any more. So bank on a title match when he is healthy.Comment

Or during the Brand Extension era when there'd routinely be 2 months between PPV's for a given show. Or in 07, when Cena and Batista had a tag match at No Way Out, so they went from the Rumble to Mania without a defense. Happens all the time.Comment

The Shield have taken to protecting us from awful wrestling now as well. They attacked Blandy Borton 5000 and he was written off with a concussion and seperated shoulder.

The guest host for Raw was Santa Claus, who was giving out gifts. Alberto Del Rio drove out and ran over Santa. An ambulance showed up to help Santa. Alberto was upset and there were chants of "You Killed Santa." Santa was strapped to a gurney and was stretchered out. Kevin felt it was too close to the Jerry Lawler heart attack. Santa gave the thumbs up as he was being wheeled out...
I guess Cena's new thing is to be a total jerk?
There were wreaths, Christmas trees, and presents around the ring. It was like WCW Uncensored. Del Rio grabbed a mic and said what happened to Santa was an accident and he wasn't trying to hurt him. Free title match and in a TLC match on Raw? Lawler vs. Miz was a TLC match I think, or at the least a ladder match. And as I said in another thread, the first Raw of the year oftentimes has a title match, so you get a free one yearly at least. And there was Cena vs. Mysterio earlier this year.Comment

Miz and Morrison in a falls count anywhere match was the first match of 2011. And it was awesome. They always try to make that show special.
