Actually, it's a lot more likely. The Wrestlemania loser ALWAYS gets a rematch. The last time there wasn't a rematch at the next PPV for the WWE title was 2004, Kurt Angle did not get a rematch at Judgement day. Also, 2003 and in 2002, Hogan vs. Triple H instead of Jericho vs. Triple H.

2009 was a 6-man tag match, but it was still Triple H vs. Orton for the title. 2008 was a triple threat and Backlash had a fatal four way with JBL thrown in. 2007 was a rematch in a fatal four way. 2006 was a triple threat rematch. 2005 we had the brand extension, but Cena and JBL still had a rematch in May, the next Smackdown PPV.

There is very very high chance there is a rematch in May. Precedence says so. Will it be a one-on-one? I doubt it. A triple threat would get Dwayne back to Hollywood and put someone else into the picture.

Well, then this might be one of those few times where it doesn't happen. I can't see the WWE having The Rock lose twice to Cena. It's not like Cena really needs to be put over, but regardless of that 1 win over The Rock is good enough for him. Doing it twice just makes The Rock look weak.

It would suck *** storyline wise too. Everyone knows The Rock isn't going to continue this almost full time schedule forever. At some point he's going to lose his title and that will almost undoubtedly be when he takes another break to go back to his movie career. So if he loses to Cena at Mania, what's the point in having the rematch? Is WWE really going to try to sell me in on The Rock winning the title back at ER? lol. Seems really redundant and pointless to do that.

Regardless, this is all speculation anyways. We're 2 and half months out from Extreme Rules. Nothing is official.

And that's why I said it could be a triple threat. Rock is never pinned. Who knows, maybe we even get a Rock heel turn out of it and says "Aw screw it, I don't need you guys," and just like that, he's out! Seems perfectly reasonable to me. He's still going to appear the Monday night after. If (rather, when) he loses, then what? I guess he could walk out then, but usually when a champion loses, for the past decade he's gotten a rematch. Is he just going to say he doesn't want it? I doubt it.

The last thing I had read stated that the Rock wasn't going to be at ER and that both WWE & the arena had pulled him from the listing.

Then I better get a heel turn on the Monday night after since we are going to have to suffer through a year-long Cena title reign and Cena/Rock III next year.

The Rock at Extreme Rules is apparently back on.

With WrestleMania just a few weeks away, many have been wondering what will be in store for The Rock after "The Granddaddy of Them All...

Holy crap, WWE taking a gimmick name away from someone to let them use their REAL name?!

Also, I would like to see a Cena/Rock rematch at Extreme Rules, but only if Cena wins at 'Mania by turning heel. A Cena heel turn is much more needed at this point than a Rock heel turn.

A possible cena heel turn how they did with Austin at wrestlemania 17? It was against the rock to so they could play that same angle were cena will do anything to beat the rock. Hmmmmmm. I really would like to see him go heel.

I don't see how they can do that at this point. If they turn him, that leaves only Orton, Sheamus, and Del Rio as main event faces. I don't think the time is right for a Cena heel turn.

There is no point at all for Cena to turn heel.

And you were saying what about Rock leaving right after Wrestlemania... Now just to get my triple threat or Rock heel turn. Give up on the Cena heel turn guys.

Cena will go heel when the next posterchild comes along who is 10 years Cena's junior and Cena is getting a weak response because of it. Then he'll go rogue and the IWC will say "psst where was the 5 years ago huh? hurrr duuurrrr!"

I would like Rock to go heel so he can put his acting to good use. He is just terrible at what he's doing right now. When hes a face he has to be a cocky face. Hes just a detached figure with the belt and thats a shame. He should be a bad guy.

I think a Rock heel turn is the only way to go, especially if he's hanging around into May. But if (when...) Cena wins the belt, the crowd is going to be so split on him that you can't use the excuse of the fans cheering for Cena. It is all a big mess. At least it should be a bit interesting how it plays out.
