Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
Cena just went 9 months without the title and they still managed to keep him relevant, mainly through the Nexus storyline last summer.Comment

LOL, hilarious, the 2011 Killer Bee's!
Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde is still serving his 30-day suspension for a Wellness policy violation, however, his character, Sin Cara, is returning tonight at the Smackdown taping in Sacramento, CA. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reports that another Lucha wrestler (rumored to be Hunico from FCW) will dawn the mask this evening.

The two men were signed by the WWF as it continued its national expansion through 1985, debuting under the “Killer Bees" name right away. The teaming of Blair and Brunzell was suggested by Hulk Hogan [4]. The team had a special gimmick referred to as Masked Confusion where both wrestlers would put on identical masks during the match to confuse the opponents and referee and usually win that way—despite this normally being a tactic used by the heels. The “Masked Confusion" idea was given to Blair by Billy Red Lyons, who had used it in Maple Leaf Wrestling.
One of the most amusing highlights of the team's career came in 1987 at a house show at California University of Pennsylvania. With Blair unable to appear for the team's match against Demolition, he was replaced by S.D. Jones, an African-American journeyman who wore the Bees' black and yellow tights for the day. During the match, the two used the "Masked Confusion" tactic and the referee, as usual, pretended to be unable to tell the two apart, despite Brunzell being very light-skinned.

LOL. S.D. Jones was a Bee? Man, that is too good. OK, now that I'm reading that, I do remember the Bees wearing masks from time to time. That's actually a pretty clever gimmick, provided the guys do look similar in terms of size/build.Currently Playing:

Yeah, I can remember them pulling out the masks on occasion. The SD Jones story is hilarious though.Comment

LOTS OF WWE-KEVIN NASH UPDATES
By Mike Johnson on 2011-08-18 20:40:55 Kevin Nash is expected at Raw this Monday and will be a regular character going forward on WWE TV. Nash will be doing a program with CM Punk and for those wondering, yes, the plan is for the two to meet in the ring. The idea behind the program was to give Punk a major name to work with that would put him over. Personally, I don't see how working with Nash would get him over more than the John Cena bouts had been doing, but that's just me.
The backstage reaction to the Punk-Nash back and forth Monday was that Punk got the better of Nash and that Nash's comebacks came off too inside and antiquated in comparison. Nash did not receive a big reaction coming out on Raw and the feeling after the taping was that the company needed to do a stronger job of explaining to the current generation of fans who he was. Initially, that was not a concern due to the big pop he received at the Royal Rumble.
WWE instructed Nash to dye his hair black for his appearances, although it may have already been dyed for his recent role in "Rock of Ages" where he plays a bodyguard to the Tom Cruise character "Stacee Jaxx." TNA had tried numerous times to get Nash to dye his hair during his run there but Nash would often convince officials otherwise, something that was a minor frustration among certain people in that company.
Nash, meanwhile, was able to slip a final shot in on TNA during the Raw back and forth with Punk. When Nash stated that Punk looked like a short order cook in a "Pikeville Waffle House", it was a shot at one of TNA's best house show markets, Pikeville, Kentucky. Nash was very verbal during his TNA run that he hated the company's house shows and was never a happy camper when he was booked on them.
I think I agree with all of this. Although, I'm not sure Nash in the ring is a good idea, unless it's just Punk beating the hell out of him.Too Old To Game Club

Yea, they couldn't have gotten anyone bigger than Nash? Those of us who grew up in the attitude era or earlier know who he is. The kids now, probably have no idea.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya
