You're funny.. not sure why you wasted your time posting that.. the Beniot tragedy is nothing to joke about/ have in a wrestling story line, 3 people died/ 2 murdered... you think, no one in TNA has done steriods, please... Scott Steiner... seems to me that today alot of wrestlers take or have taken steriods/hgh... I'm not naive, but when watching wrestling I don't think anything of it... pro wrestling is entertainment not a sport... next time think before you post something

Wasn't trying to be funny, people need to get over the Benoit thing. I didn't say anything about him having to use Benoit's name. I just mentioned him trying to get a gimmick over. There I deleted the name Benoit in my post, happy now? Man, I feel like I'm listening to Harry Potter films, "the man who we do not speak of" please, besides, I'm sure it wasn't just the steroids that made him murder his family. I didn't say that people in TNA don't use them, I'm sure the majority do, Lord knows Steiner does and I'm sure Angle is involved as well. Nobody seemed to complain about Vince blowing himself up in a limo when I'm sure many people in this world have died from incidents similar to that, but that's ok to make light of I guess. Get over it.

I think the Eugene gimmick was kinda funny, but they never gave him any push and actually let him win enough....I don' t think they were ever really behind him as a wrestler

Alot of guys who break through with bad gimmicks break through because they're repackaged. Rocky Maivia didn't get over, The Rock got over. The Ringmaster didn't get over, Austin 3:16 got over.

Eugene was never repackaged, they tried a heel turn and then pretended like it never happened two weeks later.


I really wish they would have had him start over on ECW when they became a brand last year. When he came out and got his head bashed in by Sandman at last year's ONS, I was really hoping Sandman "knocked some sense into him" and Eugene would come back repackaged.

I have always said that they should have given him the "Crazy" Nick Dinsmore gimmick after he was shaved bald and called it a day. But WWE wanted to continue with this mentally challenged gimmick. Everything that I have read about Dinsmore, he is a very good wrestler................but was reduced to the WWE style of wrestling. oh well!

He came up with the gimmick. Gimmicks like Eugene last forever on the indy circuit and don't require you to really bust your *** physically. He'll make some money as Eugene until he dies. He knew what he was doing.

Eugene was released by WWE because he recently violated WWE's Wellness Policy for a third time. After a recent drug test, Eugene had a prescription drug show up in his system and he was unable to produce proof the drug was properly prescribed to him by a doctor.
