HHH needs to be a MEGA-heel again, although I don't know if that's possible anymore...

HHH could easily go heel by retiring Flair. Seeing as how the kids love Cena and Mysterio, it'd be unwise to turn either heel. Their shirt/mask/bling sales would go down the drain.

I'm not gonna lie... I hated Cena and I marked out like a crazy fanatic watching the RR with my friends in my dorm.

        We all did.

And right now, to a lot of kids, Cena IS Hogan. His character isn't aimed at grown-ups; he's marketed to WWE's main demo -- KIDS! And he's connected with them. He turns heel, and the point of his being where he is goes away.

People who are so stale like you seem to think Cena is don't get the loudest reaction in the arena every single night. Gates don't go down 3.9% when he gets hurt. Ratings for the show he appears on don't go down 4.5%. All this turn Cena heel stuff is garbage and has no basis in reality.
Hogan didn't get booed by half the crowd.

Hogan in the 80's didn't. Today, he would.

It ain't half the crowd. Not even close. Not even a quarter. It's the same people who turned on HBK 12 years ago.

Re: ***The Official John Cena Thread***

I read this on a pro wrestling blog this guy has a very interesting POV on the whole Cena situation I can definitely agree with, he also throws a Snitsky ref in there for good measure.

Hmm. Well that’s confusing. I guess rather than have the two month build to Mania they’ve decided to try and and sell more PPVs at No Mercy. Not a fan of that decision.
Looks like they are going to try and get the belt off of Orton for Mania.
I guess it comes down to Triple H and Hardy for who they’ll book to win the Chamber. Unfortunately, I doubt Hardy will go over again.
This crap is really splitting opinions. Some people are upset about the way Cena is being treated by fans (waah), and some are just pissed off that Cena is coming back and most likely taking the belt right back.
Personally, I have nothing against Cena’s wrestling ability or his work ethic. I think the guy gives it all to please the fans. That being said, I hate the character they’ve created for him, and thus, I don’t want to see him as champ, especially when he’s getting booed out of the building but still remains a face. He held the belt for WAY too long, and now it looks like they are giving it right back to him. We’ve seen him as champ, we’ve seen him as a face, it’s BORING. To top it off, guys who were getting pushed, like Hardy and Kennedy, are now back down to the mid card as soon as Cena shows up again. I think that’s why many wrestling fans are pissed off about Cena. It obviously shows in some of these comments.
Also, I notice up above Jade is a bit upset with the mockery of Snitsky. Personally, I have nothing against Snitsky as a wrestler, but much like Cena, his character blows. His character is much worse than Cena in the fact that he doesn’t garner ANY reaction whatsoever. Still, they try to push him down our throats as a monster. Problem is, you can’t be a big time heel monster if your presence silences the crowd. When Snitsky was doing the “it wasn’t my fault” thing, it was much more entertaining.

Cena ain't beating Orton at No Way Out.

And wrestling bloggers are just 411 and Inside Pulse rejects...which means they all suck.

As pissed off as I was at the Royal Rumble...tho surprised it is good to have Cena back in a way.

As James said I don't see Cena winning...I got a feeling Hardy is going to win at No Way out and beat Orton at Wrestlemania...I dunno maybe thats just what I hope for.

I doubt that, some how some way John Cena, like someone posted before, is the current gen. Hogan. As long as Hogan was active he was always holding the strap or one step away from it. IMHO Cena will destroy the current flow of the newest main event climbers and jump right back into the spotlight due to how much money he generates for WWE. Especially after the reaction he got after RR 08 and the following Raw.

I can see Hardy keeping the IC for a long while and hopefully getting a steady push to keep going for the WWE championship and a well planned feud to keep his main event status intact.

Orton losing the title to Cena by WM

HHH and HBK feeding off of the DX thing until the well runs dry again.

Right now, I'd bet on Cena/HHH at WM. There's a match for guys like Hardy and Orton called MITB. Or they could have Orton try to kill the legend of Ric Flair.
