They are completely handcuffed so they dont make the horrid HW division look worse than it already does. The work rate in the WWE has been a joke for about 10 years now.

although i will admit that the wwe does indeed suck, im not so sure i've reached the point where i'm missing wcw.

if we're talking about wcw circa '98 with the nwo and sting rappelling down from the rafters, then yes i'm going through wcw withdrawl.

but if we're talking about the last three years or so of wcw, then hell no i don't miss it at all. it was god-awful. they put the world title on david arquette! are you kidding me?!

WCW was awesome. I loved Mondays back in the day 7-9 RAW and than a rerun of Nitro. Those days were awesome.

Plus, usually two great PPVs per month.

I wish I kept all those recordings of the PPVs I made. Have no idea what happened to them.

LOL. If I wasn't lazy I'd capture and upload some of my vast WCW collection. I've got all the Pay Per Views from NWA/WCW from Starrcade 83 to the end, as well as season sets of Nitro 95, 98, 2001 and Thunder 2001.

So we have a great indie video game store here in Austin, what game can I go pick up and play as the Nature Boy out of the box and have a good time with...Thanks to to wrestling pro's for any help.

Try Legends of Wrestlemania, it just came out recently. For someone who hasn't watched wrestling in a long time, it should have plenty of wrestlers you will remember (including Flair). The gameplay is easy to pick up, and I had a blast with the game. I will say, after a few solid days of playing it, you should finish up everything in the game, so all you will really have after that is exhibition matches. Obviously there isn't too much in the way of modes, so it may not be worth the $60 price tag. Maybe give it a rent first.

Flair was also in Smackdown vs. Raw 07, and 08 (I think, not 100% sure).

my favorite match was hogan vs goldeberg, my 2 favorite wrestlers to this day. Some of that stuff was so funny like when hogan and the ultimate warrior fought and it seemed like the ultimate warrior was really trying to fight and their was fire crackers

I still watch WCW every night as I have all the Nitros from 95-2001.

I'm currently in 1997 watching the Nitros in order with the PPVs along the way. It's such good TV and brings back some great memories. The DDP/Savage feud has been fairly entertaining.

I miss the WCW. Or rather,I miss the WCW that,at it's peak, had the WWE on the ropes.

WCW would still be around had they ever put someone in charge who was all about the wrestling business. At first,it looked like Bischoff was gonna be that guy. Then he started letting guys like Hogan and Nash lead him around by the nose and not giving a damn about the guys the fans actually cared about,it was over.

That and giving guys like Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan complete creative control over their characters. Which basically gave him the right to not put anybody over. Which they didn't.
