100% agree.....I could of swore last year he was the US Champion all year in big rivalries with Chris Benoit and Matt Hardy. The guy has only been around about 2 years, You can't all of a sudden have him beating Edge, Undertaker, and Batista for the title.

He definitely got a nice one last year with getting the US belt and holding it for almost a year, although that might have been shorter had Hardy not been injured. My guess is that he's stuck in the gray area between the mid-card and main event and they're not sure how to book him upwards. Edge is the top heel on SmackDown and with the main storyline of the show centering around him, there's no room for MVP at the top.
MVP is one of the best they have right now in my opinion also, as he's pretty close to the total package. He's solid in the ring, has a good look, mic skills, charisma and was lucky enough to get a gimmick that works and doesn't limit him. Sadly, I don't see anything changing in the near future as there is simply nowhere for him to be pushed to currently on SD. And no, I don't think a brand change would be a good move. We've all seen what that did for Kennedy...Comment

Oh yeah, his ME push is gonna come one day. I think we'll get a better read on things when Hayes comes back since he's a big MVP supporter. A couple of losses after a nearly year long title reign aren't gonna mean anything. And not for nothing, his gimmick is that he's not as good as the hype, so losses don't matter.

Yeah Jiggidy I meant ME.....and I know it takes time...but it just seems like theyre setting him up for failure rather than success....i could see if he had the ring talent w\ no mic skills but hes actually entertaining...
He needs to get rind of "The Playmaker" though....lol

In my opinion he pretty much destroyed Hardy last night. That was brutal the move he did on the floor. I wish their falls count anywhere could be like the one at mania 10 where the wrestler gets pinned for 3 and then has 60 seconds to get back into the ring. that was a great idea and one of the few good matches at mania 10.Comment

MVP has been involved in something since he started. As long as he's on TV every week having a good match or cutting a good promo, he'll stay over. He might be doing nothing right now, but that won't last forever because once something opens up, he'll be where he needs to be. Hell, he might even get the Royal Rumble throwaway/test title shot this year.
