What the hell happened to wrestling? Summerslam is the 2nd biggest event of the year. You used to be able to see the story building for Summerslam a couple of months away. Now all these matches get thrown together a month or less away. The only one that really has any story to it is Taker and Edge. I've slowly been phasing out of wrestling lately there just isn't much substance to anything they do anymore. I will say Smackdown has been pretty decent since the draft. Does anyone remember the Austin Taker match from Summer Slam 98. That was huge. In my opinion that was the best build up to a match ever. Austin fights Foley in May and Taker comes down to make sure Mcmahon doesn't interfere. Taker costs Austin the belt in June by busting him open in a first blood match vs Kane. Austin wins belt back on Raw. Taker and Austin fight Mankind and Kane for tag titles in July. Taker and Austin for World Title in August. It was awesome the whole Highway to Hell build up. Anyone who watched wrestling then knows what i'm talking about. Sorry to get off topic. Vince needs to get his stuff together though his ratings are dropping fast with this crap that's on now.

I'm with you on this one. I remember that buildup and match..my god it was unreal good. I wasn't a HUGE SCSA fan....but he was damn good at what he did and the Undertaker is...well, the best and in his prime. Wrestling just isn't what it used to be..now it's all about just throwing random crap together and hoping a bunch of 11 year olds learn the catch phrases and scream a whole lot when their favorite 'character' does their finishing move. Everything else is just to waste time until Cena hits a finisher and then acts like he's "pumped." Wresting today, for the most part, it complete garbage.
