A little off topic, but for those of you who are parents, when did your children start understanding what they were watching on TV? I have a 2 1/2 year old son who loves watching Family Guy. All he knows is that he loves Stewie and Brian, but it still makes me cringe a little.

The way I see it, wrestling broke into the mainstream by attracting kids in the 80's. As those kids got older, wrestling had to adapt to keep them interested which brought on the whole "Attitude" era. Now that has run its course and the WWE wants to attract a new, younger audience that it can hang onto for a long time. It's a cyclical thing. The hardcore will always tune in and I doubt they worry about alienating their existing fanbase.

And so, the gimmick Cena that made him who he is, is dead forever, more than likely, never to return.

Cena is a slightly more talented in the ring version of Hulk Hogan.
