the real problem that wwe has

when vince decided to buy wcw i knew wwe was in trouble.

this may sound stupid, but right now they have too many superstars, and not enough time slots or opportunties for them.

right now wwe in my opinion is in real trouble.
their ratings are down big-time something has to happen, real soon.
also when they split the superstars up to raw and smackdown that caused their ratings to dip and go downward.

right now they too many DAMN SUPERSTARS!

Agreed, Vince should've never bought WCW out. Competition is the thing that drives professional wrestling. Now that there is no competition there is no reason to have any great storylines/feuds and such.

There is one way Vince can fix this, He should make the Video Library public and make a network with older material. That way there is some stuff to add revenue to the ailing WWE.

The only thing we can hope for product wise tho is that NWA:TNA gets a TV deal.

Making a Wrestling Network would not be the GREAT SOLUTION to the woes of the WWF. They are making plenty of $$$ even though ratings and attendance are down.

Vince would never make a network of such material because he would lose that $$$. He would very muchso rather sell the footage via DVD's and VHS' and that would make them even more money.

However they have to start building new guys as threats before anything.

The real problem with the WWE is that they've done everything. Not too much more that they can come up with to surprise viewers and add enough drama to make people continue to want to watch. At least this is the biggest problem I see with it and why I no longer watch regularly.

Re: the real problem that wwe has

I think their three biggest problems right now are storyline continuity, pushes for wrestlers that end in a week, and the constant shoving down our throats of certain characters.

                    1. Too many times in the past two years we have seen storylines start with a bang, and lots of potential, and then a few weeks later see them either disappear or closed in the most ridiculous of fahion. (Yes, I know it's wrestling, but damn, we already suspend belief enough as it is)

                    2. And pushes for wrestlers? Anyone else remember the hype behind Steiner? Now he is having political debates with Nowinski ? He went from Title contender to lower mid card real quick. Can't have anyone looking better than HHH, now can we?

                    3. Speaking of HHH, why don't they just give him his own show already ? It must be great being the Boss' Son in law.

actually, steiner's depush had nothing to do with HHH.
He was SO bad (I was at that match live, people actually cheered HHH and BOOED steiner by the end) that people didn't want to see him again. He made himself so big that he can only to a belly to belly throw, and that's it. And he even screws THAT up most of the time.

Since when did a wrestler's in ring ability have anything to do with anything ???

Just kidding. I'm sure that had something to do with it as well. I just kind of tired of HHH being the champ already. Doesn't have to be Steiner, just be anybody else.
