If I am interpreting the timing of various posts on a running commentary thread of a dedicated wrestling board correctly, the encounter between Cena and The Miz lasted all of six minutes.

Exactly what I didn't want to happen, apparently did. When in doubt, WWE finds a way to make me angry.

5:39 wich was unfortuante.

I thought it started off good,then Hardy/Punk was good for a laugh (in the hahaha he screwed him again way) but that started the downhillness.

Jericho vs. Rey was wow again.

Ziggler vs. Khali was suprisingly not horrible and it had the return of Kane.

Jericho & Edge probably made that tag match better than it was.

I'm suprised Orton won. Well no reason to watch Raw this week,unless Edge & Jericho are defending the titles.

Wonder if this is Jeff's write off? He gets indefinatly suspended for the post match stuff.

Carlito & Primo vs. Legacy
Legacy's chance to be more than Orton lackeys so I suspect they'll win.

John Cena vs. The Miz
Miz's chance to get up to the next level,so he'll be crushed in 5 minutes,especially if these are in order.

No DQ match
Khali vs. Ziggler
Dunno what to think about this one but Ziggy should get the win.

Mask vs. Title
Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho
Neither thing makes sense but these 2 have put on nothing but great matches. Some sort of draw perhaps?

Women's Title
Melina vs. McCool
Don't care.

ECW title
Scramble match
Dreamer vs. Christian vs. Swagger vs. Henry vs. Finlay
I guess Dreamer should win this though he could lose without being involved in the fall.

WWE title
3 Stages of Hell
Ortonbot 5000 vs. HHH
Business as usual here,I hope,then it'll be safe to watch Raw again. Maybe Trips and Miz will win and they can fued. (Yah that'll happen)

World title
CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
After the free wrestling clinic on SD it looks like there'll be some sort of Punk/Morrision fued so I'm guessing Punk wins here.

The Tag team match was awesome just because of the edge and jericho thing even though my boys priceless didnt win.

Cena raped Jizz, HARD!

Ziggler wins because Kane returns from a hiatus...lame.

Jericho fails at unmasking and Rey is smart but predictable.

Divas were hot.

ECW scramble was exciting i really liked that match...they should have it more often.

Mah Man Orton won thanks to his goons, but hey, KARMA FOR HHH BECAUSE HE WAS DOING THE SAMETHING TO HIS OPPENENTS WITH EVOLUTION.

Punk should come next friday with an eyepatch, also that match sucked.


All in all it was a good bash, i enjoyed, as i have with most ppvs since the wrestling calender started.

It wasn't total crap, but for sure the worst WWE PPV of the year. My one big gripe was the videos. They should've cut some and given Miz/Cena some extra time.

Oh, and Punk is awesome.

The Great american bash use to be a great PPV back in the days of WCW. But now it has gone down alot. Decent matches. But the Bash has so much great history with wcw wrestlers like sting flair and so on. I wheather seen This PPV stayed retired after Vince took it over.

They needed to give Miz some love is what I read. Sucks, cause Miz could be kinda cool, but this complete and utter squash kills any heat he'd been generating.

Very smart of the WWE to give Y2J and Edge the tag team titles. Now 2 of their most awesome in-ring (and on the mic) performers can pull double duty and be on both shows. Even if they lose the titles it'll be fun watching them together as a tag team (and neither had anything great on the horizon anyways).

1. With Jericho/Edge winning the tag titles, I just KNEW Dibiase and Rhodes were going to turn on Orton and make a face turn. Thus setting up RD vs JE tag team fued. JE vs Carlito/Primo is just going to be boring.

They had so much setup to make a major splash. Now we get another month of HHH vs Orton feuding, the exact same feud Orton has been running for a year.
