Danielson is world class, those guys are middle of the road. Kendrick, London & Bourne were really just flippy workers and Colt was tailor made for the midcard. All of them were clueless as to how to play the political game and that's what sunk each of them in the end.

Danielson has wrestled every style, is waaay more talented than all of them and has important friends.

Forget about Taz, he was never on the level Danielson operates at. He's going to be Benoit.

As I said elsewhere, I think the best-case scenario is that Danielson becomes the next Benoit. I'll be really happy if that happens, and Danielson would do it so well.

I just remember hearing about Vince's APPARENT reaction to Taz when he first showed up on the scene and Vince realized he was short lol

I think he'll be sent to FCW and hang out there for a long time with Low-Ki. WWE signed those guys just to get them away from the competition.

At this stage, Danielson hands down gives you the better match but Punk has shown he can move programs. The WWE style values that more than individual matches (for good or bad).

The question is what Danielson can do or will be allowed to do in the scripted enviorment?

I think Punk is better. Danielson normally has the personality of cardboard from what I've seen though there's been exceptions (yes I know I already posted this in the other topic in the main forum):

Oh, he's a techincal wrestler? Sounds good, but I can't get behind anyone who just wrestles but is garbage personality-wise. It's why I hated Benoit, and I hate Benjamin, Hardy, and Mysterio. You can have all the skill you want but if you can't get it to "move", then it gets wasted unfortunately.

What are his strengths/weaknesses? I'm interested in knowing about this guy.

All I can say is about damn time. I've enjoyed every single one of his matches that I've seen.

What are his strengths/weaknesses? I'm interested in knowing about this guy.

He's good at adapting to different styles and works well with everyone. Technical stuff is his specialty but he can brawl and bust out high flying stuff too.

He doesn't really have any stand out in ring weakness but I think he might have some trouble getting over in WWE based on wrestling alone.

If you can, get your hands on his first match with Takeshi Morishima from Manhattan Mayhem 2. Date was...8/25/07? I was looking for it online, but came up empty. Great great brawl. The four matches were really, but this was the best of them IMO. It's still one of the greatest matches I've ever seen, and one of the top three I saw live.

And for Matrix...you won't like him. No shame in that, everyone is different.
