Re: Slider Thread
Im enjoying these, they give me "WWE" style matches...Not that much of a reversal fest, its more "scripted" like......I dont see back to back to back arm locks and back flips like years past, infact I did a top rope cross body but my opp cought me instead! You really have to progress from stikes to strong grapples as the match drags on
Options
Diff- Any Turning off HUD, Rev Meter are other good ways to bump diff level)
Kick out system- Original
Momentum bar- Slow
Stamina- On
AI Reversal Balancing
Stand Strike- MAX high
Stand Grapple- MAX high
Ground Stike- MAX high
Ground Grapple- MAX high
Finisher Reversal- MAX high
Foreign Attack Rev- MAX high
Damage Balancing
Finisher Strenght- 0 low
Foreign Object Str- 0 low
Game Balancing
Stand Strike- MAX easy
Stand Grapple- MAX easy
Ground Strike- MAX easy
Ground Grapple- MAX easy
Finisher Reversal- MAX easy
Foreign Object Rev- MAX easy
Mom Rate Action- MAX high
Mom Rate Attack- MAX high
Mom Rate Taunt- MAX high
Stamina Rate- MAX high (wrestlers will sell better)Last edited by Jukeman; 10-23-2009, 01:11 PM.Comment

Re: Slider Thread
I'm finding legend pretty easy with default settings except with stamina rate maxed and 0 for finisher and foreign obj strength, everything else is at default. If I max everything with your settings will it just be a reversal fest. Even on legend I don't reverse often, I just vary my attacks, get out of the ring when it calls for it and I win at least 80% of the time.
It's kinda bothersome because I haven't even played that many hours since I got it.Last edited by Seymour Scagnetti; 10-24-2009, 09:53 AM.Comment

Re: Slider Thread
No, not as much someone would expect it to by looking at the settings...However, if you keep doing the same moves over and over than yea you are gonna be reversed...
If, so then just lower the AI reversal by one notch at a time untill you get it just right....I prefer ground strike and and ground grapple to be touched first as those are the moves that less likely get reversed in an actually WWE match...Comment

Re: Slider Thread
I'm finding these setting real easy as well on Legend. I'm able to play as a 70 rated against say Triple H of a 90+ and just demolish him.
They need to add an "aggression" slider or something to make AI more attack prone. Several times the AI just stands in front of me and does nothing. Also, the more I play, the more I feel that the attributes don't really have much an impact when you're PLAYING the game. It's more "timing". When you have CPU vs CPU, I've seen realistic results. In other words, a 90+ wrestler beating a 70's wrestler, etc.
I'll have to move these sliders around to my liking of course, but I also don't want to have a game based on reverses and not attributes.Comment

Re: Slider Thread
Just had a great match against Orton(vs Cena) that lasted 10 mins after getting man handle by Orton in my last match(vs Shelton)
This match when back and forth but Randy had momentum at the start of the match and somehow recieved a Sig move in just minutes after the match starts....He continues to whoop my arse and goes for the punt kick(made that his Sig and gave him the hunting RKO as a finisher) but luckily I reversed it, after that the match is back and forth untill I finally get a sig move, I hit the five knuckle shuffle then tries to hit the FU(eff that AA!) but Orton countered it....3 mins later I manage to bust him open after hiting him with a face buster while trying to set him up for Cena's other Sig move but instead it gave me a finisher...I hit it and gets the 3 count....great match, plenty of kick outs in itComment

The AI does need to get more aggressive tho, Hopefully THQ will finally realize this because UFC was the same way, after I mastered that game the AI flaws was exposed....
Also The tech attrubute determine the reversal difficulty on wrestlers so thats good...Are you paying with the new pin system? I feel that its too easy to kick out when using that system, I let the AI hit about 3-4 finishers on me and was still able to kick out bruised up and all...
Yea, the AI matches are great with these, only thing I dont like is that the wrestlers ALWAYS want to fight in the ring...Comment

Re: Slider Thread
Most of the time during a regular match I have toss them over the rope to get them to go anywhere near the floor.Comment

Oh, while I'm here, I thought I read that there were "pre-match" games (shoving, etc)? Am I missing something or were those taken out at the last minute? or?Comment
