This could be the death of TNA.

I think we will be seeing Vince come on Spike sooner than later saying that he owns the TNA name and the library. Brand #4 might be created and Vince will give us WWE vs. TNA for 6 months squashing them like WCW.

We reported earlier today that TNA has booked another Impact broadcast to go head-to-head with Raw on March 1st. The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that TNA has decided to permanently air Impact on Monday nights as they feel the time is right to go head-to-head with WWE. As of now, the plan is to air a live Impact every other Monday night, and tape an Impact broadcast on Tuesday nights which will air on the Monday nights that the show does not air live.

It is unclear at this time whether or not Impact will retain or change its current 9-11pm time slot.

If things keep going the way their going now TNA isnt going to have a problem. Seriously their shows have been much more entertaining then Raw has been. And their shows are taped and spoiled. All of WWE shows are almost unwatchable right now. Its the same every week Cena DX and Santanio(which is probably the only good part of Raw). I hope TNA can be successful and theres more then the WWE's watered down wrestling.

If they can do their highest rating ever against raw with Bret Hart coming back I don't see why they can't go head to head. There's no way they overtake wwe anytime soon but I think they can do just as good as they do on Thur. I think there are a lot of fans, mostly men in their late 20's-40 that watch raw on Monday's because that's the only choice, I would think that some of that fan base that could careless about Cena, hornswoggle, DX schwag, and the bella twins slobbin Napoleon Dynamite's knob, would tune into tna. I've actually found myself thinking I'm kinda excited to watch impact during the day on Thursday.

I get the feeling most of the people who watch TNA don't care to watch RAW. That's the case with me and most of the people I know who watch TNA, so I don't see them losing a lot of Impact's viewers to RAW on Monday.

I agree with ty5oke, most TNA fans are people who left WWE looking for something different or are old WCW fans. I don't see this hurting TNA at all If anything it will slightly expand the audience.

But keep puttin those nails in TNA's coffin!

They need to be live they would and could die on Thursday nights anyway. Regardless It causes Vinny Mac to be on his toes, but TNA better fix this garbage they are putting out with old and stale storylines. A live is show is better than a taped show anyday

Cool so I can watch either WWE RAW or WWE IMPACT TNA is not the alternative we are looking for and it will never be with them bringing all these old WWE stars I'm wondering where all this money is coming from?I allready have this weird feeling about TNA the same feeling I had with WCW when it was dying.If you want a true alternative watch ROH.

That's kind of my thought. Not right away, but TNA is shooting themselves in the foot, especially with WWE in WrestleMania mode.

That's probably why they're waiting till March to switch, I'd wait until at least two weeks after mania. Although, the night after mania isn't quite what it used to be imo.

I think moving to friday would be better and face smackdown. I think it is too soon for a head to head battle.
