Re: WWE: NXT Thread
Just realized Athena made her NXT debut over the weekend at a live event.
The embarrassment of riches that is the NXT women's division just gets stronger and stronger. That will be even more true if Allysin Kay signs, as I know she had a tryout.badComment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
Very impressed with Nia Jax. I have a feeling she will be the "Kevin Owens" of the women division.
She is still a little to green though, I watch the match again and I know she is rather large but she is just moving to fast she needs to create a methodical pace as she is more than likely gonna be a heel it wont hurt her."ITS SO FLUFFY!!!">:DComment

Owens was a grizzled vet when he came to wwe. Nia Jax is greener than goose ****.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
I mean, her potential is to be like an Awesome Kong type wrestler. I didn't think there would be any comparison whatsoever to Owens, who worked the indies for 10+ years finally getting the call, versus someone who got in the business because of who her cousin is.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
I don't necessarily agree with that. They're okay once in a while, but I prefer ladies who can actually string together a good match like the Sasha's and Natalya's and Lita's of the world.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
So I watched the latest NXT episode last night. I REALLY like that Apollo Crews guy! There's something about his persona that screams "superstar waiting to happen". It's so strange but great to see a product that hinges so much on the female wrestling though while I thought Bayley's opening promo was rather vanilla I enjoyed seeing Alexa Bliss. She reminds me of Trish Stratus in a way facially but the rest of her is definitely unique. She actually looks a bit shorter than some of the other girls but that doesn't stop her from cutting a pretty good heelish promo and hard selling what looks to be a program between her and Bayley.
BTW just a comment on Asuka, holy crap! That woman is like the Brock Lesnar of womens wrestling but she also has this persona that makes her really uncomfortable...I can't quite think of a comparison but I like it...A LOT!
Nia Jax while green, impressed me from a presence standpoint. She will need to be involved with others who can put together a good match psychologically but she has the potential to be a monster type wrestler. I could definitely see a Jax/Bayley program in the offing in a few months.
Overall, the show was pretty well done. The battle royal was alright and it looks like it's set up a couple feuds and not just the #1 contender for the title.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
