Ember...yeah. Too soon to say she's a bust or anything, but I don't think she's connecting like they thought she would. Or I should say, I'm not connecting with it.
Ember has never connected through promos, she got over with ring work, she just hasn't been in the ring. She'll connect just fine once she's wrestling regularly again.

There's a disconnect though. Her gimmick, at a glace, seems enigmatic and mysterious, while her promos are trying to make her the consumate athlete. I think her promo delivery is fine, there just no substance.

There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

The only difference between reality and fiction is that fiction needs to be credible.

That was Ruby's best match to date. Loving her progression. With her and Nicky Cross, the top of the NXT women's division is starting to get a bit crowded. That's not a bad thing.

Meh it's getting crowded but I don't see anyone on the roster right now beating Asuka any time soon. So it getting crowded does nothing for me. Also depending on who is signed from the Mae Young Classic it's only gunna get worse and I can see WWE backing themselves into a corner real soon.

That's a very odd and random comparison to make. Roman may not be able to light the world on fire but he's put on nothing but solid matches for over a year now. The hate on him is totally unfounded and dumb at this point.

Looks like Lio Rush is going to sign and come to NXT. I really like watching that guy work.

She does face off against Asuka at Takeover Brooklyn but I don't think she's ready in terms of being the ONE who ends Asuka streak. WWE really has booked themselves into a corner with nobody that legitimately can be believed as beating her and ending her streak.

Watching that match to only realize how badly they will be ruined on the main roster thanks to Vinnie Mac, man I almost feel like we should lower expectations when they come up after seeing what the main roster has done to NXT talent.

Am I the only one around here that tunes out of anything with McIntyre and Ohno? McIntyre is obviously more well-rounded but he still doesn't do anything that draws me in. Ohno never really did before, and this second run in NXT isn't going any better. Catchy theme song though.

There are others I'm just not into but it hit me more this week when I tuned out halfway through the show since there was just the McIntyre promo and Ohno vs Itami left. I'll probably go back and watch the match later because I like Itami, but I'm in no rush.

I'm with you 100% on Ohno. I know he's had a lot of great matches (score wise) on the Indies scene and all around the world, but I've just never really gotten behind the guy during his two NXT runs. Maybe it's the way he's handled in WWE or something else, but he's just pretty blah to me. On a side note, I've loved Itami since his return. I hope he can stay healthy this time around because his character has evolved very well as a heel.

McIntyre, on the other hand, has been one of my favorites since his Chosen One days when he debuted in WWE years ago. He was missing something though and seemed to find his footing on the Indies scene. I think he was really good in TNA/Impact and returned to WWE at just the right time. I enjoy his stiff style and in-ring intensity. I'm not sure he'll ever been very good on the mic, but I love his in-ring style. He and Roode should compliment each other really well.

NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III has my full attention as the Takeover events usually do. Roode and McIntyre should be pretty good, and Ember Moon vs. Asuka should be much better than their last match. They seemed to hold quite a bit back in that one, and I think they'll let it all go in this one. And Sanity is probably going to challenge for the Tag Titles which should be really good watching. I'm not sure what Aleister Black will be doing, but I'm sure he'll be involved in some form or fashion.

I'm definitely looking forward to Takeover more than Summerslam at this point!

Confidence. I think it's pretty clear that he's confident with who he is in the ring now. And he should be, because he's good. For me he's just...plain? That's probably the wrong word, but oh well. I feel like once I've seen one of his matches I've seen them all. None is more or less dramatic or exciting than the others. They're good, solid, 'watch in the background' matches for me.

That match between Ohno and Garagno was amazing this week. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out. Also would like to see Gargano become the new NXT Champion and feud with Ciampa over the title once he comes back from injury next year.

Getting caught up on my NXT viewing. Anytime Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate get together, it’s a classic match. British strong style representing!

It would have been funny if Ciampa had walked up on to the stage waving bye bye to the crowd and boom.... Johnny came back out and attacked him as the closing credits were on the screen.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens going forward heading to New Orleans. All signs point to Gargano vs Ciampa at Takeover but how we'll get there now with this new twist of him leaving NXT, leaves you wanting to tune in next week to find out what happens.

NXT is heads and shoulder above RAW & SD right now, I hope whenever the next Shakeup that some of the main roster guys finally get the promotion to NXT.
