I've viewed NXT almost like minor league baseball. Might have started out in early days looking like A ball, then went AA ball, now it seems like its AAA ball where we see guys from main roster sent down to work on things.

Who knows, maybe they are just setting up for NXT on FS1.

Apparently things are in place for NXT to move to FS1 as we have new info in regards to the potential move.

- NXT would air LIVE every week and be a 2 hour show. The time slot, 8PM to 10PM which would put NXT vs AEW head to head every Wednesday. Nothing has been reported in terms of NXT staying in Full Sail or if they are traveling week to week but they do have tapings coming up that could tell us more about the potential move.

- WWE had plans to move NXT to FS1 on Wednesdays but didn't want to finalize a time slot until AEW and TNT announced theirs. WWE officials also feel they have a edge on AEW where they can move main roster talent to NXT at anytime in order to boost ratings.

- The downside is that TNT is in more homes than FS1.

I dont like AEW vs NXT. I want to watch both. Gotta decide which one I'm watching Thursday then. Probably will be NXT.

Too much to watch. 3 hour raw, 2 hour aew, 2 hour nxt, 2 hour sd. Add in 4 hour PPV and theres no time to watch any other show.

And people said Cody smashing a fake throne was petty and overly combative lol.

Turning WWE's developmental into a 2 hour live weekly show seems so damn short sighted and dumb to me. But the idea is to take viewers away from AEW at any cost, so it is what it is.

I'm fine with NXT going to 2 hours they have a lot of rumored indy talent coming in and if the rumored 205 Live to NXT move does indeed happen then you just enough for 2 hours.

205 live getting folded into NXT rumor just doesn't make sense and WWE has already shown that it isn't happening. When October comes around 205 Live is done and everyone is getting scattered everywhere. Guys like LHP, Kendrick (probably), Gable, Bennett will all go (back) to the main roster, guys like Tozawa, Gulak, Oney all going to NXT and Gallagher, Dar, Mark Andrews (don't even know why he's listed on the 205 Live roster page, tbh) all going to NXT:UK as a permanent fixture.

NXT already has an oversaturation of talent problem. Guys like Keith Lee should be working 3-4 weeks during a single taping session not just 1 or possibly 2 matches. Same goes for guys and gals like the Breakout Tourney competitors, Karen Q, Chelsea Green, Rachel Evers (pre injuries), Deonna Purrazzo (1 TV match this year, Battle Royal at Worlds Collide), Dom Dijak, Mia and Candice (pre pushes), Bianca (after losing to Shayna twice), etc. And guys like Dream, Cole, Gargano should wrestle more than once every 3 months.

Would be better if 205 live went to NXT. Just have NXT Cruiserweight title. That gives a weekly 2 hour show 5 divisions as well as the non title people as well. We dont need same people every show.


Speaking of NXT, some guy was handing out flyers during a WWE signing advertising an NXT UK vs Impact show for tonight. Destiny World Wrestling, whatever that is. Bate,Seven vs Alexander,Elgin. SCU also there.

If WWE bought Fite they would take all wrestling off there, and possibly just shutter the whole thing.

I'm not interested in NWA so at least that won't be as big a problem for me.

I'm hoping they do have AEW on TV here because that'd be a major missed opportunity not having it in Canada, especially when 2 of their biggest stars are Canadians. Less than 2 months away and no deal announced yet. They better be working on something good.

Or just record it on a VHS. Use SP though since its only 2 hours.

Speaking of which, I find it funny people never really thought of that back then (or maybe they did but I never knew of it). Treat VCRs like DVRs. Record shows and watch them later and skip commercials. Although in this case, you couldn't watch while you record but still. Get 2 VCRs, a cable splitter, and then you can watch 1 show live and 1 afterwards.

I just recore my old tube TV off screen using my game boy camera. But that's just me.

NXT TV Tapings are taking place tonight, going to be very curious to see how many weeks of TV they record if the rumor of them going to FS1, moving to two hours and live is true. Don't know how many weeks of TV they usually record but Sept 25th would end up being the last official taped show if they decide to go live Oct 2nd against AEW.

Would they actually debut October 2nd, or wait a week so that SD on Fox is the first show airing as part of their new deal.
