It’s an alright name on its own, it’s just going to take a lot of getting used to after knowing her as Mariah May.

That's the thing. Sure, it isn't a name we got used to in WWE (like Walter), but people got so used to Mariah May.

That was a weird ending. Nobody told the ref Oba was winning? Or Jasper was supposed to kick out.

Oba hits his finisher, the ref counts 1...2...............then randomly says Jasper's shoulder is up when Jasper didn't even do anything.

Then Oba just hits his move again and this time they count the 3.

We'll all get used to the name but Blake Monroe just doesn't come off as a wrestling name. Mariah Monroe would have worked best here, that way similar to Ricky, she would have just changed her last name.

Not just that, Monroe would be a great replacement for her last name because of the obvious reference to Toni Storms character as well which is obviously a slight nod to Marilyn Monroe

Set aside that we’ve known her as Mariah. How is Mariah Monroe more of a wrestling name than Blake Monroe? Is it just the alliteration? I don’t know, to me they equally fit in wrestling because they’re equal amounts porny.

To me, if she's a face then how easy can the fans chant her name. Even if she got the Cody treatment when AEW launched and just went by Mariah, that's 3 syllables and easy to chant. Blake Monroe doesn't roll off the tounge that easily.

Like I said, we hate the names at first but get used to them. People hated the Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose names originally too. Even though I do think at the time(2011, 2012?), Tyler Black & Jon Moxley were better ring names.

Every name gets hated at first.

It's just different with changes now because more people know Mariah May and Ricky Starks than they did Tyler Black or Jon Moxley back in 2010. I remember I think on this very forum we were all making fun of the random name generator turning Leakee into Roman Reigns.

We got used to Gunther over Walter even though many WWE fans did know him as Walter since he was in NXT and appeared on the main roster too, so obviously with time we'll get used to Blake Monroe and Ricky Saints.

This is one of the worst refs ever.

We've seen missed foot on ropes and missed grabbing the tights, but staring at someone tap out but also not seeing the tap out takes it to a new level.

Solid show again tonight. I like Mariah May's logo and music but the name is stupid.

Women's matches were all really good.

Swipe Right/Page/Starks/Adonis segment was good.

Intentional or not (would be more impressive at Ethan calling an audible instantly), Ethan setting up Ricky not only with the old "hit him from behind while a pre taped promo airs", but his pre taped promo glitches out and freezes mid sentence which has Ricky confused and the fans laughing just to realize they've truly been set up because Ethan attacks Ricky from behind.

Having GAB on the same weekend are Evolution seems weird.

How do you have women's matches on both cards? If anything it would seem like a letdown if you're on the GAB card instead of Evolution.

That ending to NXT really made me realize that we literally could have an NXT Women's royal rumble, there's that many women on the roster!

There's 25 listed on the official roster alone. Add in some from evolve and tna and it could actually work.
