Just draft Bron Breakker #1 overall to SD and push him to the moon. This kid is the future of this company.

Mandy going for the NXT Women's Title was something I wasn't expecting, I thought eventually she would manage someone else who would challenge for that title since she has a Tag Team already. Considering no titles changed hands, I'm assuming no major call ups in the Draft?
I could see some people being drafted, or at the very least become "free agents" that Raw or SD could sign.

If they want some NXT star to be an instant big deal on the main roster (one can dream right) then have them debut as a free agent and go to Raw and SD shows seeing what they'll(network exec's?) do to try getting that person to sign. Although this probably works better if shows had GMs.

On second thought, I need to hear a Math Promo from him first before I decide he's the next big star.

Parker Boudreaux debuted on NXT. If you don't remember, he was the college football player hyped as the next Brock Lesnar only because he looks like him. Well WWE killed that quick. Also apparently Kevin Durant is a fan!

Both Johnny Gargano and Candice have removed "NXT Superstar" from their Twitter bio. Their contracts are reportedly up in December and unless Gargano appears on RAW with Theory, perhaps Smackdown? Gargano did post a pic of his title collection with the caption... "What's Next?"

Will be interesting to see where they wind up.

Theory just moved to Raw, and Indi basically already moved on from The Way as well as she went back to her old theme this week and has a new partner.

So, Gargano back in NXT...for now. We'll see what happens.

Interesting ad for next week. Never really heard them basically asking fans to attend shows, and dress up in NXT merch to have a shot of sitting front row.

WWE posted a new job opening for NXT 2.0 Creative Writer... and hey look...

"Knowledge of WWE’s audience (demographic and psychographic) a plus, but not required"

Well you know Vince & Bruce are in charge when the position doesn't require knowing what a WRESTLING AUDIENCE wants.

I’ll say the same thing I said last time this was the conversation - you don’t necessarily need to know wrestling beforehand to be a good wrestling writer. Writing is a talent in itself, and if you have that going in you can learn the characters and write to them after you’re hired. A lot of wrestling fans have this weird demand that anyone involved has to have been a lifelong fan for some reason. It doesn’t make sense.

All that being said, even the best writers would fail in WWE’s system.

Fully agree on all points made. And having non - wrestling fans as writers can sometimes give the company/product a fresh perspective.

I think it is the implementation of those ideas which is the problem in WWE.

It's wild that people think that way, right? Especially since most storylines have been trash/inconsistent/nonsensical since they've made this shift to no wrestling knowledge required.

Again, it isn't all on the creative team but Vince, Bruce, etc. and how they implement the ideas.

They need a balance of people with & without knowledge of the product and better implementation of those creative ideas.

Which means a boss that doesn't rip up the script a few hours before show time. Or is constantly pivoting with his characters, storylines or creative ideas.

I think this is more a thing about Vince having the final say than anything else, no? For all these non-wrestling writers they bring in, there’s still a backstage full of wrestling people in higher positions who have been around for decades with their wrestling knowledge and the product still is what it is.

Nothing wrong with having non wrestling people giving creative input, but they shouldn't be the ones with the final say.

The problem is that a creative writer is one of probably 30-50 people who is giving input on what happens on a show. Can't get much done when so many are giving differing opinions.

I'm sure others have worked in a job like that before too where you might be told 5 different things from like 7 people. Hard to have a sense of direction when things keep changing like that.
