NXT Vengeance Day taking place Saturday Feb 4th at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC. Going to be curious how this show does as a stand alone not with a main roster PLE with it. I'll be there for sure, will be my first NXT PLE event as I was robbed of Takeover Tampa in 2020 because of Covid.

I'm sure the Iron Survivor match will have tweaks after they see the first matches play out and see reaction from fans too, but the thing I like about a new match, you don't know what to expect, and you haven't seen it all.

So many possibilities in this match and strategies we could see play out.

Imagine getting a fall on someone within the first 5 mins, then getting 90 seconds of just cutting a promo before they get out of the box.

Or two people in the box at once, we could see a good old fashioned fight in the penalty box. Maybe someone even loses a fall on purpose to get sent to the box so they could beat up on the person in the box.

The scoreboard at the end, especially with it being coloured, gives it a video game vibe.

That might be one of the funniest spots I've ever seen.

I haven't watched NXT outside of highlights since it became NXT 2.0, so can't really comment on the story aspect of the matches and feuds but the show was fun.

- The Iron Survivor Challenge matches were fun, think they could reduce the 5 minute interval between challengers to 3 minutes but absolutley love how they can get a fall before all the participants are in the match. It definitely worked better than I thought it would.

- From a character standpoint, both Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre stood out to me, Dawn is everything Fiendish that Alexa's character never was when she was with Bray.

- New Day vs Pretty Deadly was a great match, for some of the comedy spots in the match it never took away from it being a Championship Match. All four superstars pulling an Eddie Guerrero was hilarious, it was even better when the ref caught on to what they did and told them all to get up lol. I really enjoy the way the main roster and NXT is more connected.

- Given how long Mandy Rose and Bron have been Champions, it does make me think Takeover Wrestlemania weekend could be when they lose the titles. Unless they have Waller and Roxanne win at Vengeance Day, but I'm not expecting Toxic Attraction and Bron on the main roster until after Wrestlemania.

Bron and Toxic Attraction need to be on the main roster. There's nothing left to do in NXT. Toxic Attraction could really help the SD women's division.

Both probably get taken in the rumored post WM draft. I wouldn't mind one or both losing at Vengeance Day and also losing their rematch during WM weekend.

I could see Bron getting taken 1st round of the draft just so they could try hyping him up as a big deal right off the bat.

I’m sure it’s just me but I don’t get Bron. Physically? Sure, he’s a Steiner. But as a character? I think he’s boring. I don’t see how he translates as a success on the main roster.

That's the main thing about him. They need to make him more interesting.

Right now to me he's just a better version of Mojo Rawley.

He's a really generic basic WWE face, which is fine but at this point if you've seen one of his matches you've seen them all. He's still raw but I'd move him up because I don't know if his ceiling gets any higher in NXT. Is he really going to get any better feuding with guys like Von Wagner and Grayson Waller?

Toxic Attraction...I don't know how they would exist on a main roster with Damage CTRL around. Very different characters but both groups fill the same "heel group who the entire division is built around" area and the women's roster isn't deep enough to have two groups like that.
