Daniel Bryan got the best WWE debut an indy guy could dream of, a whole show dedicated to him. He held his own on the mic with the Miz, gained some support from the fans, and tops it off with a good match against the World Champion.

Danielson had one of the best matches that I've seen in a long time on WWE TV.

Wasn't there some kind of injury or drug related issue with Nigel and that is the reason why he didn't go to WWE? I can't recall exactly......but I don't think he is doing to bad right now in TNA, except for that name change.

I don't care what people say about Burke, he is one guy WWE will regret getting rid of. He might be a smaller guy, but he can work the mic and is entertaining in the ring. No, losing to Burke should not be an embarrassment.................losing to Orland Jordan now is another story.

Yeah, Pope is one of TNA's best assets and will be champion eventually. No shame in being booked to lose to him.

As for Slater, he wrestled in a dark match at the Raw I went to last October so I'm rooting for him to do well, but he looks like a damn tool when he does that dance. He was a heel when I saw him, and he was MUCH better at that. Drew some solid heat for a dark match promo.

He doesn't seem totally comfortable on the mic, but over time I think he'll get better...

Never really been what he's known for, he'll get over like Benoit. Great matches and work-rate, also it's highly unlikely we'll see him killing his family either.

Just noticed it the second time watching, on the overlay he's billed from Las Vegas but was announced from Aberdeen, Washington.

Yeah, i like the quality wrestlers who have great work-rates, so I'll enjoy watching him...just hope he'll improve on the mic for his own sake (otherwise you get buried eventually)

I marked out during this entire show. Danielson had a really strong showing. Couple nervous blips on the mic, but I'll take his in ring ability over a guy like Ortuga ... kid can talk, but he's not ready to wrestle a 5 minute match with any degree of ring psychology.

For those unimpressed with Miz's rookie, PLEASE youtube Bryan Danielson. Some great free matches from HDNet, and about 50 matches from ROH DVDs that I could list off that'll make your head hurt on how technically amazing this guy is.

I'm also loving the writing on this show. They knew Danielson came in with a following, and the angle is about as good as they could have done to get him over quickly. I also LOVE Barrett's character, and I'm looking to be impressed by Gabriel ... great look, and held the developmental title before getting called up.

I'm watching wrestling on TV again ...
