Another great show this week. If they're eliminating rookies each week starting in 2 weeks the show might only get better as eventually they'd only have a few and result in longer matches.

And yah Jericho was great:
"Talk about Barret!!"
"We are!"
"MORE!!!"
The smirk by Jericho that broke character after he said that was priiiiiceless ... guy had me in stitches!!
FINALLY caught NXT on youtube this morning, and it was awesome!
Only two matches, but Y2J and Otunga were my highlights. LOL @ green M&Ms and eating mashed potatoes (wtf!?).
And I co-sign all of the Jericho sentiments. "I voted for Wade Barrett, I can do what I want". With all the funny comments he was also interspersing insightful comments and putting others over in the match (and not just "the machine, the eagle" Wade Barrett). Just a top-notch performance all around from Y2J.
I would have liked to see Bryan a lot lower with his win-loss record and his disrespect of the pro's (considering they're the ones voting). Right now, he's 0-4 and ranked #1. The desire to win and it factor aren't going to change much and he's already not won a match. So, at 0-4 it's like he's already won and the WWE has made up their mind. I'd of liked to see him crawl up the rankings each week. We all knew he was going to win this thing but right now, it seems too easy.
I hated the keg carrying challenge, and the idea of "challenges" in general. I'll withhold judgment until I see what future challenges the WWE comes up with, but that one was stupid (I thought Skip had a legit beef though as the clock kept going after he crossed the line). I'm hoping these physical and mental challenges don't take away from the greatness of NXT each week, but if this is how they kick it off, it looks bleak.
I thought Otunga's explanation for screwing Cena was good enough.
Ok, Daniel Bryan lost to the #8 rookie in the polls... can he finally plummet? He's not only never won a match, but he lost clean to the worst guy in the contest.
I thought Tarver's promo about how everyone was a target, and how he was playing by the rules and was now taking what he wants was excellent! I believed in him as he made me take notice. Then he dropped the keg, bitched and moaned and lost cleanly to Gabriel. So, that was killed immediately.
Finally, I hate Slater (as most on here do), and cannot stand the push he's getting. Maybe my favorite moment of the night...
Striker: Are you ready?
Slater: WOOOOO!
Striker: That's not really an answer but, ok!
(I thought Skip had a legit beef though as the clock kept going after he crossed the line).
That happened with nearly everybody, and I feel as though it cheapened the "competition".

I've stopped understanding what they're doing with Bryan on NXT. He's the internet darling, blah blah, Cole thinks he's a tool, blah blah, he's #1 but can't win a match in the double double E. Honestly, I think there's only two of them that can actually get over in the 'E, and it's Bryan and Otunga. Of the two, Otunga might be better off in the 'E, since he has the look and the sound of a WWE wrestler.

I do have to admit that I liked that too, just because Striker was classic with that line.
