    Re: WWE: NXT Thread

I was thinking Young at first too but "kayfabe" wise it's difficult to have him thrown out. He's got the best record,Heath is #2 record wise and Gabriel will probably finish second,Barrett is probably winning so that leaves Otunga,I don't think his mainstream appeal brought anyone in and his in ring work has been shaky even though it has greatly improved since the start of the show.

Speaking of Barrett where's his song? That's what he won a few weeks ago wasn't it? His own entrance song so he wouldn't be using Jericho's but he still is.

Yeah, I totally forgot about that. I hope they get him an entrance theme soon.

You and me both, JJ. I was ready to kill someone when he got eliminated, but now, I'm free from the crap that is NXT and can't wait to see the real Bryan Danielson tap out the whole freakin' roster

This was a pretty damn good show I thought. The three eliminations definitely threw me off.

The Bryan promo was freakin' awesome. I'm so glad Barrett and Otunga are #'s 1 & 2, as they are my two favorites. I want A-List to stick around bad but cannot see him winning this thing as green as he is in the ring. Gimmick-wise Otunga is everything the WWE wanted MVP to be, only Otunga is much better at it. He and Gabriel seem to be the only two who evoke any real reactions from the crowd so despite David not pulling in any new fans, he is already a pretty over heel with the existing WWE fans, and that alone could get him places. Jennifer Hudson is to Otunga what the gold medal was to Kurt Angle. They both legitimized their characters and it's a well only they can go to for heat.

            Re: WWE: NXT Thread

I've read no spoilers, and heard no rumors about it, but I'd bet my bank account Bryan Danielson kicks Miz's ****ing head in this Monday and takes home the US Title. It's just too perfect of a scenario for the E to mess up(meaning they probably will, but still).

Good show. I was surprised by the multiple eliminations. Even more surprised by AmDrag being one of them. Hopefully it leads to what I stated above. And if it doesn't, WWE has wasted a great talent and I hope to see Danielson back in the independents very soon.

This Monday, AmDrag wins the US Title and Tarver becomes TDJ's bitch. Sure, it'll make NXT seem pointless, but it's what should happen

My only thing is how do they explain his losing 10 matches in a row to scrubs like Tarver and whatnot? I mean the WWE isn't going to come out and say that it's fake and that was just his gimmick, so how will they explain him all of a sudden dominating Pro's like the Miz?

I think his interview later in the show hinted that he just threw his matches. He talked about Daniel Bryan as a separate character than Bryan Danielson. He hinted at bringing the whole Best in the World character to WWE TV.

It makes sense. Danielson and Miz didn't get along, so Danielson didn't want to win to make Miz look good. Plus Danielson felt he was better than NXT, thus not really giving a damn about the outcome. As he stated, "how could I take Batista to the limit, yet not beat a rookie"...almost as if to say he tried against Batista, but didn't care on NXT.

Maybe I'm looking too much into it. Hell, maybe AmDrag was just shooting and will be endeavored by the end of the day(not likely), but I just think something's up.

                  That actually makes sense.

It'd be cool to see him fill in Bret Hart as a surprise and beat Miz for the title on RAW.

How the hell did Health Slater move up in the poll ahead of Justin Gabriel after losing to Gabriel?? Darren Young eliminated? He has the same record as Wade Barret. (7-4) Can't say I'm surprised but Darren Young has the most potential of any of these guys.

I figured Heath had more chance of going than Young.
Danielson beating up Cole was pretty great though.

Another elimination next week, what are the last 2 gonna do,wrestle an ironman match to see who wins?

Ha, easily the best promo in a long time.

I assume they have him come back soon and just have him destroy some no-name big wrestler -- to the point that refs have to come pull him off or something along those lines to continue to push the "rebel" and "dangerous" moniker they seem to be leaning towards.

                              OR

They have start interrupting matches and just destroying people that way.

I'm totally impressed either way with how he's being handled, and I am now more than appeased that he didn't come out on Monday and win the US Title like was previously rumored. I hope they keep the forward momentum going with him.

Nevermind wrestlers,I want to see him destroy Cole. Cole can be in the ring running him down and getting booed then he can come out take a chair to him then lock in the Cattle Mutilation.

Watch it again and look at Punk and Regal when Miz says "You're better than me?!?!"
