      Re: WWE: NXT Thread

Anyone else notice the insanely obvious edited crowd reaction they added right before Itami his his finisher. Balor went and did his move and all, then fans reacted slightly, and 5 seconds later it's some huge ovation from the arena(despite fans not really cheering that much) and Itami hits his finisher, gets the 3 count, and then the edited reaction sound is over.

And funny during Nevilles promo when he's like "Sami is too nice" and then some random fan shouts out "That's cause he's Canadian!".

And like someone else in this thread said, Balor hasn't been anything special. Itami as well, nothing really that special. Sure they're great in the ring and all, but besides that, nothing else really "stand out" about them.

Right, but they've literally just started out in the WWE style and haven't had a real meaningful feud or anything yet.

I'd rather see them as single stars, but I'll take what I can get from them as of now. I can't wait for Thursday, though, and that's the truth. Hopefully this last 'PPV' of the year for them will blow any WWE PPV out of the water - they normally do in everything but crowd size.

Charlotte/Sasha should be fantastic, unless something just doesn't click.
Neville/Zayn should be a barn burner.
Lucha Dragons/Vaudevillains have had a match on a Live Event (not televised or anything) that was supposedly amazing so hopefully they both bring it. Could legitimately compete for MotN.
Balor/Itami / Ascension is the only real toss up as I'm not a giant fan of Ascension (thanks for getting yourself fired, Ken. That's why you're in TNA now and not working with your wife.) Itami/Balor seem a bit... awkward teaming together in some ways still to me as well - though I will mark like an 8-year-old if Finny manages to get a way to use his body paint.

They were masking Holy **** chants if I remember correctly.

We really can't judge either Balor or Itami as they haven't done much other than being blank babyfaces battling the ascension. (who really have fallen of a cliff)

Ya, it seems more like that. Could be part of his gimmick, being someone who's angry about being overlooked his entire career and wanting to prove a point.

The promo on NXT had me thinking maybe he really will appear in the NXT title match. Seeing how his promo talks about having a history with Neville and Zayn. Maybe he'd come in and ruin the entire main event? Being all jealous and stuff that guys he's beaten in the past, not only got signed before him,but are competing in a WWE (NXT) main event for the world title.

                  Re: WWE: NXT Thread

Why is NXT making so much sense and why can't WWE be like this.

The Vaudevillians complained that the legal man wasn't pinned, showed the evidence and got another title match. How simple can this be!?

NXT has it's flaws, but overall I've found it a lot of fun to watch.

Lucha Dragons make me miss a Cruiserweight division.

There's obviously rust and growing pains with some of the wrestlers because they are relatively new, but the headliners make up for the occasional awkward match. I've just seen some obvious misses and miscommunication in some matches.

Zayn and Neville put on the most entertaining match I've watched in a while.

I wasn't trying to put the product down. It's good. My post was just to make the point that I don't think it's flawless like some people act, but currently the matches are better than what's being shown on Raw and Smackdown.

The Diva's match between Ric Flair's son and Sasha Banks was the longest Divas match I've seen in a while and was fun to watch.

Why wouldn't your question be serious ? Lol. I hate that phrase.

Because I'm sure most know I'm an NXT mark and think it's one of the best wrestling products in the word.

And Ric Flair's son? She's not that bad looking.

my only thing I wish NXT would do is develop some more tag teams but that will come with time.
