Re: WWE: NXT Thread
IDK man I wouldn't say you're too harsh. I don't think she has 'it' to be a star in WWE, she's not that hot for them to be pushing her as the 'super diva', her voice is annoying as hell, and her powerhouse stuff is nothing compared to Charlotte. She'd fit in more with the WWE divas than the NXT women tho.Comment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
I think I only say it's harsh now because I almost never have said anything like that since I've been here with y'all. Plus if it's what you gotta do to feed your family and all that stuff then I wouldn't want someone to tell me I'm garbage at what I do ya know.

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
I get that Nxt is "developmental" but part of that argument goes out the window when they're an actual touring brand now. So the show isn't just about developing talent, it's also now about making names that people want to go see.
Tying that into Brooke, we've seen this character done before much better by Beth Phoenix. So that makes it hard to get behind anything Brooke has done.Comment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
Part of learning how to wrestle is being in front of different crowds, so I don't have any issue with touring.
I just have one major pet peeve with NXT lately, its the crowd chanting "you can't wrestle" at some people. Thats a stupid chant for a developmental territory.Comment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
It's the downside of building an enthusiastic crowd at Full Sail. They see them so much, it makes it easier for them to get behind a wrestler, and that usually works out well. They also lately have a tendency to try and start chants for really, really, really stupid things because they've been empowered by being 'part' of the product.Comment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
Not anymore. Their days at the performance center is their only dev work. They make sure the wrestlers are fairly polished when they throw them on the tv show. Hence all the indie signings, and more to come.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams
UWW | UWGB | Duke

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
I'm really not trying to beat a dead horse, but this is a crazy argument. Just because they signed a few indie guys who they're polishing before they move up, doesn't mean its suddenly not a developmental territory.
If you take Bayley, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and maybe Emma and put them on the main roster(like they should be), you still have 7 or 8 other women who are all below average wrestlers and/or have no characters. That would completely kill the womens division in NXT.
Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe will all be moved up before too long, some sooner than others. There goes the mens division.
Will it be developmental then? lolComment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
Well, they're also trying to bring in more part time guys to fill out the roster when those guys head up, and there will supposedly be main roster talents working the nxt tour.
That said, it's still developmental. It's just more like triple A than single or double A. There's still guys there that are still clearly developing. The top of the card is all main roster ready, but Blake/Murphy, Enzo/Cass, Corbin, etc aren't ready yet.Comment

As soon as their focus shifted to touring/competing with the indies, it became a separate brand. Not developmental.badComment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
I consider NXT basically like AAA baseball or AHL hockey or something like that. To me, that's what it is compared to WWE. Maybe more like AAA baseball just cause you do see main roster people occasionally appear on the show and all.
