So what's this SvR DLC exactly?

It was in new arrivals in the morning,RB pushed it out this afternoon so you might not have noticed it.

One of them is obviously the online code but it's the other I'm curious about.

It sounds like it unlocks everything in the in game store (except Bret Hart as it mentions) from the beginning and all future DLC will be free? If this is a download what's in the CE?

I guess DLC in the title should be in quotes since it's 108 KB but if it's an unlock key anyway that doesn't really matter.

I don't think it said future DLC for free, thought it said discounted rate (which I don't understand how that will work either).

It's called the Axxess pack, and like you said, unlocks everything but Bret Hart (which I'm buying at Best Buy anyway).

I had no idea there even was a CE?

      I thought there was.

The way I read it was "this is a discounted pre-purchase of future DLC". Meaning you're pre-purchasing the DLC at a discount. That's what I wanted clarification about.

Like 3 Nexus + Layla = $5,Rest of Nexus + Cena update + Daniel Bryan + Del Rio are gonna be $7 and say NXT 3 winner + Kaval + Matt Striker commentary = $5 so buying it now would be $10 instead.

Axxess" pass, if purchased, gives you "axxess" to all DLC, and you get special icons and goodies for your online in-game persona
        He went on to say.

Guys, I'm going to Minnesota tomorrow, but will explain Axxess and the DLC you see, on Friday. But you should see it in write-ups now..
He was asked if it gave someone access to all DLC, and Marcus said yes.

@stephensonmc Axxess" pass, if purchased, gives you "axxess" to all DLC? What does that mean? You dont have to buy the DLC in the future?
        @Josh_Laz yes

Kinda sucks that you have to pay for what's the equivalent in other sports games, a roster update. But I guess it's better than nothing.

Still on the fence about this game. The Universe mode looks cool, but I'll probably see how the impressions are before I buy it. Any word on how long this DLC deal will be available?

And any word on how to get it. I'm very confused but that's probably because there's no link and I don't know what RB or CE are.

RB is Rock Band, it had a ton of DLC so it pushed the Smackdown DLC down the list.

CE is Collector's Edition, which there isn't one for this game.

SvR will have an in game store for DLC ala Rock Band, so that's how you would get the DLC or you can go the regular dashboard way of getting DLC.

This is not a bad idea if they decide to support the game with DLC throughout the year. $10 is good, especially if there is a nice amount of DLC pushed out.

                  Did you jump on this?

No, I'm waiting till tomorrow to see what Marcus says about it.

If every wrestler and what not is unlocked, plus the DLC, yeah, for me it's a great deal. I hate unlocking things that should be unlocked like classic wrestlers or outfits. So I'd pay $5 for just that. It's a guarantee I would buy both announced DLC packs, so I'm saving at least $5 imo (factoring both packs are $5 each).

Has it been confirmed that there are going to only be 2 packs or will we see more?

Three packs technically (everyone gets the first one day 1), then they have announced that the 2nd one has Nexus in it and there's a 3rd one announced for January.

After that, nothing else has been announced, but I'm guessing we'll get one more after that.

Well, Marcus just confirmed there will be 3 DLC packages.

The one day one (Chris Masters, etc)

                            One around Xmas (Nexus)

And one after in January/February (no word on who's in, probably Daniel Bryan, Del Rio or anyone else missing)

But he did say that the attribute editor is only available with this download. Meaning you can edit any current WWE star. That alone may make it worth it.

EDIT - I look at it this way, it'll end up being free for me so I'm going to get it. With XBox's promotion of spend 2400 points and get 800 back free, I'll have no problem. I plan on buying Comic Jumper tonight (1200 points), 800 for Smackdown gives me 2000 points used. I'm sure I'll end up spending another 400 by the end of the month on something.
