Re: So what's this SvR DLC exactly?

I want the editor and with the ridiculous prices for the DLC UFC guys that didn't even have their own moves, themes etc. it'll probably be worth it as of the first DLC pack but I'd perfer if unlocking stuff was optional, depending what's locked anyway. Just as well to wait a day to confirm all this for sure.

Some people already bought the online thing. At least it's labeled.

Any word of this on the PS3 store, when I last checked this afternoon, only the Online Pass was listed not the Fan Axxcess. If its not this might make me switch which system I get this for.

Still on the fence about this game. The Universe mode looks cool, but I'll probably see how the impressions are before I buy it. Any word on how long this DLC deal will be available?
It is the equivalent to a roster update in a sense...but it's much more difficult to add a wrestler to SVR than it is to add a football player to Madden. For the most part, Madden doesn't go in great depth to make each and every player look unique. Whereas SVR has very in-depth player models, not to mention addition music to download, full movesets, etc.

I look at buying wrestlers for SVR more like buying historic teams for Madden than an actual roster update

Well besides the DVD's, it's nothing that we can't get here. Best Buy gives you Bret Hart and Amazon gives you the Randy Orton outfits. I think Walmart has the Taker outfit.

              Fancy boxes!

Did they reveal the one other way for Bret yet? I don't have a Best Buy. Though I guess with him being on the cover of the Canadian version not being in the game could cause a false advertising mess.

Just bought it, easy sell for me with the details being released today. Granted only a $2 savings over retail, but still worth it since I'd get the second DLC for the WCW ring alone.

“The Fan Axxess program for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 offers consumers a very attractive value proposition to significantly enhance the virtual WWE experience,” said Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President, Core Games, THQ. “We have some of the most passionate fans in the industry, and we are pleased to offer them an opportunity to access premium gameplay content, customization features and recognition for their loyalty for one price point.” About WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 — Fan Axxess Elements The first downloadable content package for Fan Axxess, currently scheduled for release this holiday season, will include WWE Legends British Bulldog and Lex Luger; WWE Superstars Wade Barrett(TM), David Otunga(TM) and Justin Gabriel(TM); WWE Diva Layla(R); alternate ring gear for WWE Superstars Shawn Michaels(R) and Shad(R); and a playable WWE NXT(TM) arena. The downloadable content package will be included as part of the Fan Axxess program, as well as sold separately for the anticipated cost of 560 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or $6.99 on PlayStation Network.

The second downloadable content package for Fan Axxess, currently scheduled for release in early 2011, will include alternate ring gear for WWE Superstars John Cena(R), Undertaker(R) and CM Punk(R), as well as a playable WCW(R) arena. The downloadable content package will be included as part of the Fan Axxess program, as well as sold separately for the anticipated cost of 240 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or $2.99 on PlayStation Network.

The WWE Superstar Attribute Customizer will enable players to determine the overall rankings and attribute levels of every WWE Legend, WWE Superstar and WWE Diva in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011. While the videogame will ship to retail outlets with pre-established in-game Superstar ratings, this feature will give players even greater customization freedom to define their own personalized visions of WWE. The WWE Superstar Attribute Customizer will be included as part of the Fan Axxess program, as well as sold separately for the anticipated cost of 80 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or $0.99 on PlayStation Network.

Players will also be able to quickly access more than 60 unlockable items in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011, including playable WWE Legends, WWE Superstars and WWE Divas, alternate ring gear, playable arenas, WWE Championships and more. Instant access to all unlockable content will be included as part of the Fan Axxess program, as well as sold separately for the anticipated cost of 80 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or $0.99 on PlayStation Network.

Saving $4 over retail actually when adding the point customizer and unlock all. Don't know why they waited a week to explain it.

Wondering this as well. I went on PSN and only saw the ONLINE Axxcess, not the FAN.

If you buy the game and type in the online code, you get the "Axxess" for free. In there, I saw the DLC with all the unlockables for 99 cents, and there was another for 99 cents. Don't remember what the second is since I'm not at home right now. The DLC with meh...Masters was free.

Not in the PSN Store yet, unless I missed something, which is irritating.

I've been thinking about getting this game but I have a few questions that need to be answered if someone doesn't mind answering them for me. First of all, if you don't buy the game from Best Buy, basically you won't have Bret Hart?

Secondly, the Fan Axxess packages are the ones with guys from the Nexus, Layla and alternate attires and such, right?

So what is this Online Axxess? I'm guessing it's so that you can play online, but I'm not sure. If so I really don't need it because I never have played this series online.

Last but not least what is the DLC called where everything is unlocked? I'm guessing this will unlock guys like The Rock and Stone Cold and so on. If someone could answer these questions for me I'd appreciate it. Thanks fellas.

                                • The Online Axxess program is free to first-time purchasers (new) of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 and provides instant access to online functionality in the game, as well as three downloadable incentives in WWE Superstar Chris Masters (playable Superstar), Rey Mysterio (Halloween-themed attire) and WWE Diva Kelly Kelly (Halloween-themed attire). Fan Axxess strictly covers downloadable content packs scheduled for release post-launch, as well as the WWE Superstar Attribute Customizer, unlockable content and the in-game badge.
