    Re: Slider Thread?

With everything at default, the Last Man Standing was under 5 mins.

    Update:

    I put Chavo G's attributes to: Submission 10, Grapple 10, Strike 5.
Big Shows: Submission (15?), Grapple 25, Strike 30, Dur 100.

1st match was me (Chavo) vs Big Show. Match lasted awhile and I kept trying the pin to see if it would end. Big Show kicked out a few times. I wound up winning (Chavo used the ropes for leverage, so that could have helped.) Next match, (rematch), Big Show dominated me and pinned me using his finisher.

3rd match I tested using CPU vs CPU (same wrestlers). Big Show dominated this match which was nice to see. I'll run a few more but I'm thinking that using a legend rating system is the way to go...

(30's for Super Heavys, 20 for Heavy's, Teens for Light and 0-10 for the DIVAs)

Not for me. Been away on business past couple weeks. Going to try and get back into again this weekend. But so far I've made no changes.

Anyone come up with some good sliders? For HUM vs CPU or even CPU vs CPU?

Wondering how much the reversal slider affects gameplay with it being CPU vs CPU. Or if you turn that all the way down, and the reversals are based on the wrestler ratings....?

I've been on Legend difficulty with the CPU reversal slider at 2 (from zero). I may go a notch or two higher, but once you get back towards default, the match becomes reversal after reversal.

The reverse fest is definitely something I want to tame. The chances of my irish whipping the CPU is about 10%. Every time I try it, they reverse it. Can you post your sliders? Does it somewhat cure the reversals?

I don't have the game in front of me, but from what I remember, every slider is at default (middle) and I just lowered the CPU reversal (I believe grappling and striking) sliders all the way down to just 2 clicks from zero.

It definitely helps with the amount of reversals. You can actually put together a string of moves. The CPU will still put up a decent fight but unfortunately, it has become too easy for me to win pretty much every match.

That's always the dilemma with these games is how to make the CPU tough, yet fair. I don't know if that exists with the game in its current form. This is the best I could come up with to at least make the matches look halfway decent.

I can't remember where I got mine from, but I'll post later. Also, I've made drastic reductions / increases to the wrestlers attributes..this has helped a lot. In a nutshell, since Undertaker is considered the "god" of wrestling, I basically adjusted everyones stats around his.

Example, Santino wouldn't last more than a few minutes in the ring, so he is around a 40 overall. Then, I'll tweak per match, but I think I have a good thing going now. When I get home i'll try and post my tweaks and sliders.

                        Re: Slider Thread?

OK....here are my attribute adjustments along with the sliders I am using. I based my attributes off the list that was floating around these message boards and made adjustments where I felt needed it. What I did, was basically compared all wrestlers to the Undertaker. Reason is because he is looked upon as being "unstoppable". So, by adjusting the attributes according to how the wrestler would fair against the Undertaker, is how I got my ratings. I supplied an "average" overall rating, which you'll see the wrestlers rank pretty nice.

The sliders aren't mine, I believe I got those over at GAMEFAQS website. I primarily use these for CPU vs CPU matches...and when you SIM a match in universe mode, the results are checking out pretty good.

                        Current champs:
                        WWE Champ: Jericho
                        US Champ: Sheamus
Unified Tag Team: Zach and Primo
                        Divas: Eve

                        World Heavy: Undertaker
                        IC champ: Booker T
                        Women's Champion: Kelly Kelly

All those matches were pretty much designated by Universe mode, so it shows that the attributes work. Some attributes might look odd, but play it out first and you'll see the difference. Anyway, they work for me, hope they help you guys, or at least get you on the right path if you're stuck.

Hope this excel file works, I usually don't have luck uploading here. It's Excel 2003 if that helps.

update: ok...found the "original" creator. It was "adembroski" (attribute thread).
