No crap. Almost 10 years later and we've still got fans that do it. It makes me cringe when I hear it now and I hate that the wrestlers cave in and play along. The best way to get those fans to shut up is to just keep talking and not pause after every 2-3 words.

What?
Seriously though, I enjoyed "The Bionic Redneck" and the Two man power trip as a whole. Then again, I'll enjoy any heel that beats the hell out of Michael Cole.
I never understood Goldbergs heel turn, though. The fans weren't ready to boo the guy.Comment

I almost took a sign with the Wayne's World line "A sphincter says What?" to hold up if that started when I went to Raw last year, but I decided no one would get it so I went without a sign.Comment

Re: Most pointless heel/face turn ever
Two caveats. Nothing from TNA or the last two and a half years of WCW. Mine would be Stone Cold's heel turn of 2001. Nobody wanted to boo him and even he admitted it was a mistake. And a not-so-close second goes to Demolition's 1988 face turn. Nothing about them screamed babyface but they turned anyway.Comment

Ahmed Johnson joining The Nation of Domination after they beat on him for months, only for them to beat on him again a few weeks later causing him to turn back to a face.Comment

Heel Rock is probably my favorite wrestler of all-time. Especially pre-megastar Corporate Rock. Nobody could cut a a more entertaining and funnier promo with more heat than that guy.Comment

Re: Most pointless heel/face turn ever
Would have to be Sting for me. No WCW fan wanted to boo the guy and the guy didn't have the charisma of someone like Hogan to be able to make it work."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Same thing with Macho Man and the NWO, they used to give him some **** beatdowns and he joined up with themComment

Re: Most pointless heel/face turn ever
Is it like a formality to do heel/face turns? What I mean is that can I expect to 100% see the Miz as a face one day or say Kofi Kingston go heel? or do people spend their whole careers as one or the other?Comment

Re: Most pointless heel/face turn ever
The same could be said about the entire NWO pretty much. Just about everybody in the company had joined by the time they finally killed the angle.Comment
