There is no reason to not have a weekly thread. It's not like we are bogging down the wrestling board with topics.

Yeah. Better to have a short 2-3 page thread, then people not even bother bumping a huge, old thread.

Didn't see a thread on Smackdown, so I figured I'd bump this. The SD tag division is the only thing I'm having issues with right now. I always hated the full heel turn by The Usos. They were more fun when they got booed because they were annoying but got cheered when they gave people (particularly The New Day) their comeuppance. A true tweener team is missing from SD imo. All other teams except Slater/Rhyno (and obviously AA) cant seem to shake jobbers status.

Why is there no weekly Smackdown thread anymore? Because of the lack of participation? Or is it the "B" show? I thought fans kept saying it was the real "A" show. I'm confused.

I kinda brought this up in the RAW thread; it's easily the better show and always has been since the brand split, but it's just not a popular discussion topic on here. Hell there were 5 Smackdown Live shows in January and it looks like there were only 2/5 threads made on here.

I know for me personally, I have comments about the show but I am too lazy to make a thread (hence why this was bumped).

But yeah, the show has been on fire lately. The two hour timeslot makes everything feel big...even feuds such as Nikki/Nattie and Ziggler/Crews/Kalisto. They're not overexposed, so you actually want to see what happens next.

                    Bumping this thread again.

Enjoyed Smackdown but man it suffers when AJ, Cena, Corbin, Nakamura, KO, and Rusev all don't compete. Orton and Jinder was good and Naomi and Charlotte did their jobs but it misses a mid-card where those top stars can take nights off and let lesser feuds carry the show.

Did Cena really reuse that "skinny fat" zinger that HHH(I think) used on CM Punk?

                        Re: Official WWE Smackdown Thread

How do we go from having a 4 page Smackdown thread last week to none again this week?

So let me get this straight. Orton lost three straight times to Jinder due to outside help but on this week's Smackdown, Jinder shockingly comes out alone to face Orton again and lost clean. WWE logic and their 50/50 booking. This was clearly the WWE's way of giving Orton a win back.

Naomi wasn't the only Champ to lose during the show. She took a lost to Carmella but because James Ellsworth is back to interfere. Not sure how I feel about Cena clowning on Corbin calling him a "dumpster fire." They had a nice opening promo though and I think Corbin is going over Cena at SS. The best segment was clearly the Styles/Owens/Shane promo. They used continuity (shocker) with clips from the past to remind us why you can't trust a McMahon. Decent show this week and lol at the show ending a little too fast after Rusev attacked Orton.

The way they book their TV, where the have to have their top guys wrestle every week, they've become experts at putting together matches with the most minimally impactful outcomes. Orton beats the champ, but it doesn't matter because the title wasn't on the line, etc. Outside interference, DQ, 50/50 booking, annoying ref decision, whatever they have to do.

Made no sense, it completely derailed the little momentum he had heading in to Summerslam. Not only that but WWE is pretty much saying Jinder is a weak champ.

If they went back to 93 Raw where they beat up enhancement guys, would anyone here be ok with that?
