He was my favorite announcer (maybe ever).

In general, Cole has become a tired act as a heel. It's turned into over-dramatized repetitive garbage. King was a much better heel than him as an announcer.

They did their best to cover it up but Cody had one nasty gusher last night. Sin Cara is the new Sabu, charismatic, cool spots, but you know he's going to screw up at least two of them per match.

I was laughing at how the refs and others were frantically trying to clean up the blood while Orton was beating him down. lol

It's getting to a point where I'm hoping Booker T gets arrested or stranded and misses his flight to an event or something. I can't understand why anyone thought that he'd be a good commentator and gave him the spot. Utterly mindboggling.

The dude is killing the viewing experience. Absolutely atrocious.

I love Booker T. For one he's enthusiastic about the job, which makes me as a viewer more interested in the action. He's great at putting guys over, like Sheamus and Daniel Bryan. Sure he's not perfect, but he's a hell of an upgrade from Striker. I hope he stays around for a while, though I could see how his work turns some people off.

He's not skilled in the least. His enthusiasm is super fake. Unless he expresses his excitement for everything in his life with "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW (insert one of 5 sayings here)"

He sucks so bad.

I find Dusty on the Mothership way more endearing than Booker on SmackDown. I do think Booker would be much better off without Cole.

Agree 100%. I'm all for giving a guy a chance but man, Book is just really rough to listen to. It's surprising to me that he's been allowed this long to stick around when McMahon had issues with Mick Foley when he was commentating. I'm not saying Foley was great (I thought JBL was better), but at least Foley was a guy you could understand and I liked his references to past wrestlers or angles.

Jeez sorry for having an opinion that everyone here disagrees with apparently, I feel like goh. LOL. But really I love Booker, and that's not tongue in cheek at all. I look more for entertainment than analysis from the color commentator, that's why I loved heel Lawler, and that's why I love Booker. Good or bad, he's just plain funny IMO.

Super fake? I for one don't see it that way, obviously I'm not going to change your mind, but anytime a guy can fit lines like "Shucky ducky quack quack!" into his repertoire, I love it.

And like I said, maybe it's because I don't look for wrestling commentators to be Mike Fratello when it comes to color commentary, that's why Striker's style grinded on me, but I love Booker, love the enthusiasm (real or 'super fake' - BTW kinda weird to talk about 'super fake' enthusiasm in what is ultimately a 'super fake' sport, isn't it?) that he shows for the product, and love his various Booker-isms "WHUT DA HAYLE"!

And like I said, can see how some may not like him, especially those who were apparently fans of Striker. But agree to disagree, no harm no foul.

I can't stand Booker but his interactions with Cole make me laugh. Especially when Cole tries to comprehend what Booker is saying. I loved Cole reaction when Booker told him who is the real Sin Cara the first time around.
