Just thought I'd toss this idea out there. Someone said Barrett needs a better reason than money. He should team up with Cody and have it be that he just wants class brought back to the title. Not that I'd ever watch it but according to something else here that Orton DVD mentioned at least some of his...uhh...transgressions,could use that. It'd be like when Austin was a drunk and The Rock had his $500 shirts and $200 sunglasses. Could have ADR convince/pay Mark Henry to swap,Orton beat Henry,Barrett beat Orton and finally throw that thing where it belongs. Cena doesn't even like it anymore,what's that say!? Doesn't even spin anymore either. Regal could perhaps be their manager so he'd have something useful to do other than be on NXT.

The refreshing thing about Smackdown is that with Hayes on the creative team, there's still a semblence of old-school, quality booking. Hayes understands how to build guys up and make them mean something to the audience. He's done a great job this year with Cody Rhodes and Mark Henry, imo. Last year, it was Kane (up until that awful stuff with Edge and Paul Bearer) that had a nice run on SD thanks to Hayes.

RAW has way too much yo-yo booking and when I find time, I'm venting all of my WWE frustrations in a blog (or a thread, haven't decided yet).

My 10/7/11 SD THoughts:

-As much as I hated the walkout, I'm willing to wait and see how far WWE will go with this and if they'll actually keep some of these guys 'on strike' for a while and possibly miss more events to sell the angle. Maybe set up SD as a 'rouge brand' for all the guys against HHH (throw some faces in there as well)?

-I like serious heel ADR better than cocky heel ADR.

-ADR/Sin Cara was meh. Just can't get into Sin Cara at all.

-Really liked the Big Show/Henry stuff.

-Other than that just waiting to see how far they're willing to go with this storyline of superstars walking out on Raw and HHH.

I agree with all of that except I didn't hate the walkout. It does have me interested in RAW next week though at least.

The 41 man battle royal wasn't too terribly bad. The ending was pretty good. I was a little disappointed when Randy was the last one but then The Miz came and I had hoped he could actually pull one out. I really wasn't sure who would win until the end. But again, it's unfortunate Orton had to win. As much as I like Orton, The Miz is passing him as my favorite and I would've loved to see the Miz have a title shot.

Also the crowd is really into the show tonight. It would be nice to get this kind of crowd for a Raw show.

Very good show, the fans really helped the mask vs mask match, which I enjoyed a lot. I also loved that the fans were chanting Mistico and that Sin Cara Azul did "La Mistica".

I found it strange that they edited the boos in for Del Rio on Raw, but not on Smackdown.
